You have specifically said that you do not want some peopleās votes, and that you do not want people to vote for you if they disagree with you.
Thatās the opposite of asking people for their votes.

I wont be travelling to CCP HQ at all, and advocate ending travel there for Summits.
CSM business can be handled online, or not at all if no change to the program can be achieved.
How easy do think it would be to have 10+ CSM members and about a dozen CCP all on video chat vs. in-person meetings?

Less difficult than getting all 10 CSM to Iceland.

mkint: 600ish posts
Salvos: 3.3k likes, less than 50% post:like ratio
mkint: 700ish likes, greater than 100% post:like ratio
mkint: top 2 liked posts at more than 20 likes
salvos: not a single post out of literally THOUSANDS has even hit 20 likes
My own stats arenāt āgoodā by any means. I donāt farm for stats. I donāt spam the forums with bullcrap to up my post count, nor take part in stupid āfree likesā threads. But even with what are really pathetic forums stats, my ādo people like meā metrics blow Salvos out the water.

clearly you donāt understand how easy it is for corporations to book tickets, or the kinds of budgets that any respectable international corporation keeps for travel expenses.

Almost all international corporations prefer using online consulting/communication.
CSM are not āemplpyedā by CCP.
Travelling to Iceland is an opportunity only those that dont need, or have, a 9-5 job can do.

It costs less, and does not involve separating a person from their family, work and IRL.
CSM are not CCP employees. They are not earning money on the trip.
Only person I know that works 9 - 5 is Dolly Parton

You made a statement that you then sidestepped with another that most assuredly could be accepted as fact.
Iām pleased to see you acknowledging that the trip to Iceland does all of these things, but given that it does all of these things Iām still puzzled as to why you think that CCP covering the cost of the travel and lodging is somehow inappropriate.
Is that not a fair trade off for separating me from my family, work and IRL?
