Running for CSM next year:

There is no requirement or obligation to go to Summits physically.

Why does CCP need to prove identity? And there are multiple other government issued identification that can be used to prove identity other than a passport.

Double facepalm.

Why does CCP need to provide identity?

Also, for the record:

“As an applicant, you must consent to provide your personal details to CCP, including your real name and a copy of your passport. CCP needs to affirm your real life identity for NDA contract purposes and the ability to travel to summits in Iceland is a key function of the CSM.”

There is no requirement or obligation to travel to Iceland for Summits, on a CSM.

Iceland is in the Schengen Region, myself as a Finnish citizen with a Finnish passport, do not require ANY proof of identity to travel to Iceland whenever I want.

I dont need a passport, or any other ID.

Again…no requirement, but they need to know you’re able.

No one cares
CCP requires it.
If you can’t abide why are you even posting your candidacy?

I have a passport.
I can show that, albeit I wouldnt need it to travel to Iceland.

Oh oh oh I know!

NDA is more enforceable face to face? No leaks?

“the ability to travel to summits in Iceland is a key function of the CSM.”

If you do not have a passport, you’re not going to be qualified to run.

Correct.

Thats how it works for citizens of Schengen region nations within the EU.

so they arn’t going to ask for any sort of id, not even to prove that you are telling the truth about being finnish?

you saying that because you have a finnish passport you don’t require any proof of identity is kind of dumb. think it through.

EDIT: was meant for salvos, not sure why it put brisc there

They will not.
All they want to see is the ticket.

I already handled that when I certified myself in purchasing that trip from one Schengen region nation to another.

I can’t pick up my laundry without showing an ID, but Salvos believes he can get on a plane and travel internationally without showing identification.

so did you show ID or didn’t you? you can’t claim to have certified yourself when purchasing the ticket, and then claim not to need identification of any sort at the same time. only one can be true. was ID involved in the travel plans or not?

Thats how the Schengen region agreement works within the EU.

Have you ever traveled internationally?

Dozens upon dozens of times.
