CSM accounts are already monitored for insider trading - being in separate alliances or corporations won’t make an ounce of difference in whether CCP is monitoring CSM accounts for evidence of insider trading.
What other kinds of transfers/benefits do you believe are happening?
That would require a chance to the STV voting system - there is nothing, under this philosophy, of a larger group like the Imperium putting out a ballot with a list of names, each person being in a different corp/alliance, and still winning races the way they have in the past.
As I said, it’s a book keeping thing, not something that is a substantive barrier to reducing any specific outside group’s electoral effectiveness. Whether I’m in INIT or in the Brisc Rubal Alliance, my voters and my friends will still vote for me, regardless of whatever tag I’ve got on.
I have been asked questions by players regarding things CCP has done/is doing and I have not asked those questions of CCP because I did not want the answer because I couldn’t tell the person who originally asked me.
Yes, I am saying that I think there are areas where the NDA should be relaxed, because players view us as conduits to the Devs and it is frustrating to us (on the CSM) and them (the players) when we are only a one-way street of information.
I know - I think you’re supporting things that either aren’t a problem, or won’t even solve the problem you think exists.
I am very intelligent, and somewhat eccentric.
Smug is not a characteristic Ive ever heard ascribed to me.
I don’t do smug.
I am as competent, if not more so, as any number of past and present CSM.
HAS nothing to do if he wants the answer or not… HE CANNOT TELL the person who asked the question, the answer to what they were looking for!!!
Have you ever been told something that you couldn’t tell anybody else even though they wanted to know??
Thats how he feels and he doesn’t wanna be in that position to never be able to tell someone what they wanted to know…
WHAT PART OF THAT DID YOU MISS??? he said he didn’t want the answer, because of the above reason… it has everything to do with the people asking the questions…
you take a lil bit of something and twist it to your own little perversion…
That is meaningless. I create a one-man corp, blue to all my old friends, and I keep all of my alt characters in the original group. Literally nothing changes for how I play or whom I socialize with.
It makes the proposed change useless. Why do it if the end result is that the CSM is exactly the same as it would have been?
Think about it.
Somebody asks you a question, they want an answer. You can get the answer, but you can’t give it to the person who asked without breaking the NDA. So why ask the question?
It’s like being able to buy a sandwich but you can never eat it. Why buy it in the first place?
It’s not something we’ll be able to change - it’s merely something I wish would change but I know won’t.
That’s fine - I’m just trying to explain to you why what you think is wrong.
