Setting the record straight - by Adrian Vexier

And you are more than free to play that way

and gankers have every right to come in and and play their way, attacking other people… considering this is a pvp game.

i’ve lost several billion in ships/pods… oh well, i pick myself back up and keep going.

Well, I was going to say that I don’t think there’s any reasoning with this person, but she keeps saying things that make me want to respond so…yeah…

Like how does she dispute the competitive side of Eve, or not understand after 16 years how to make herself a hard target?

Anyway, I do have legit concerns that she is misguiding new players, and sending them on a path that will lead to failure, frustration, and quitting. So, if anyone has any intel on nadia’s main, alts (she doesn’t appear to use this one), corp, or friends, please let me know.

Oh, and to everyone, try not to get into personal attacks with her, as it would just result in this thread getting closed.
No P2W

i don’t plan on getting into personal attacks… i’m not the best at EVE, but i’m sure better at guiding newbros.

Besides @Nadia_Bulkalov I and my corp I’m with (more like a service than a corp), when someone loses a ship to a ganker, we laugh, and ask if they need help replacing it so they can keep servicing other capsuleers.

pvp is ALL around you, always will be. need to get used to it, or live in fear of it, and never undock and just play market trading…

It’s part of the game.

It happens, even to NPCs: Capsule | Scipio Artelius | Killmail | zKillboard

No difference really. Don’t put expensive implants in if you aren’t prepared to lose them.

we have been very successful in making ourselves hard targets, thank you! we have freighter alts that have passed through Uedama And Niarja for years without suffering a single gank. we must have mined hundreds of billions worth of ice and ore over the years with suffering only a minimal number of ganks and losses. i see you are trying to mock our effort and accomplishments, but we know our value and what we stand for. it is just that we don’t like players openly cheating and abusing the game, like in the video adrien himself posted.
but it is ok. as i said, we already made the decision to move elsewhere and try new things. we will look at this as a step forward. and we have a newbie program that has been very successful over the years with some players choosing to stay with us for years after being self-sufficient. can you say the same thing about you? i doubt it. we are people that create, produce and bring positive value to the game. while others like adrien, aargh, jason kusion and so on are the negative part. it is good and evil, i guess, as in real life.
dont worry about us, we will deal with it and we will survived, just how we survived before.

Citation or source?

A lot of stuff that can be done in game, could possibly be considered cheating or abusing in many other games… Not in EVE.

@Scipio_Artelius ouch bro… I was gonna ask about being podded by an NPC, i know drifters and trigs were the only ones that could.

Can you try to bring that same approach to the forum interactions perhaps?

I’m curious to know how a player who’s been around since wormholes have been added to the game didn’t know that killing Sleepers doesn’t increase your security stasis.

i made another post a few days ago that got deleted, where i exposed the op of this post for cheating. he uses an over speedy ship, managed several kills in highsec and nullsec in literally the same minute, almost 100 jumps apart, he solo killed an astrahus with a frigate, we saw him gank on grid with us and get away with it and all this with having a positive 5.1 sec status when 5.0 is the max. he tried to explain it wth the post here and some things may work, but not all. i said it before and i will say it again. i can understand a player doing a few things that are suspect, but all of those things on a daily basis?
and check his zkillboard, he has no losses for almost the past year while roaming nullsec and ganking in highsec save for a recent nereus kill which he obviously made to save face since he was too obvious. he said it himself:

i dont care how good you are at the game, no one can go into nullsec in so many fights with 1000+ people on grid and survive every time. also there is the video of the gm using scrambler escape and teleport cheats that surprise - he posted. to deny foul-play at this point is to be delusional.
anyway i tried explaining publicly as much as i could but i see the forum trolls are hard at work. most likely adrien alts among you but whatever! as i said we just want to be left alone.

@Brinton_Anzomi read the posts. there are certain players that have above 5.0 sec status. some of them even gankers. we searched a way to increase above 5.0. wormhole rats were a part of our search.

But none of them are suspect. Every single one of those things is logical and within the mechanics.

your trolling is wearing me out. but here! we say this happen in front of our very eyes - he ganked the hulk and then the hulk pilot came back in a warship and was destroyed again. in both situations we had our safeties to yellow and we locked him and couldn’t even shoot him with drones. and he even got the pod at the end!

explain that!

This again?

I struggle to find out why I am replying, either. It just makes me feel very good to interact with someone like that. Superior, y’know?

Then I feel like a cat who’s already bit the head off it’s meal and slapped the rest around a bit. Bemusing, once the good parts are digested.

@Nadia_Bulkalov is now @Adrian_Vexier 's number one fan. Good show.

So sure; and as per your previous thread, you clearly didn’t see the part where he was suspect baiting and his suspect timer expired before you locked him, or the other guy accepted a duel and they got a limited engagement together both times.

What you are essentially bitching about, even though you claim to be a veteran of 16 years in the game; is that a CCP employee is using elevated privileges to manipulate the servers, because that’s the only way, outside the normal explanations, for this to be an issue. In all cases, there are regular, normal mechanics that explain every situation.

Have you emailed internal affairs? or raised a support ticket?

Because if you have and nothing has been done, then you are just clearly wrong.

lol definately trolling, but i have got a big bag of popcorn still to finish so on we go

Killing pods in highsec is effectively impossible except maybe for smartbombs. i put it to you i achieve the impossible daily, am i cheating now. all the pilots needed to do was not go afk and they would have lived.

. eve is a pvp game at every level, you may not recognise you are engaging in pvp but you are.

i have a life i achieve the impossible , i kill pods in highsec.

null is the safest space in eve, thats why so many come to highsec to engage in elite pvp.

oh boy all i can say is lol, eve has never been a relaxing game its always been full of fun pvp. i guess you have only recently ventured out away from null sec into highsec and are not accustomed to being shot at.

if anyone in eve knows about implants dropping from pods then i think i would be the one to know. when was the last time you podded someone.

please dont fill the newbros with your lack of understanding of basic game mechanics, thats just plain cruel.

@Aaaarrgg

i never podded anyone with my main characters if that is what you are asking. in fact i pride myself in having no zkillboard kills on several chars in 16 years of existence. i tried pvp and killed some alts but i don’t like it. not my style. so i stick to my own game. and i don’t like it when others impose their game on me. why is that so hard to understand?
and we know about null mechanics? we have industry in low and null. and we know that people can shoot there without concord arriving ever. just like adrien does in highsec. that is why we avoid it.

we have been setting players on their path for more than a decade now. some of them even have their own corps and are well-off now.

this has been explained countless times, he was suspect baiting or duelling. either the suspect status ran out inbetween the hulk attacking him and you coming back to the keyboard panicking and trying to shoot him (which you didnt mention in your other thread) or the hulk accepted a duel. alternatively the hulk went suspect by looting. there are many ways this could have happened and the hulk pilot knows what he did wrong even if he wont admit it to you.

I SAW IT WITH MY OWN F00KING EYES! can’t you understand that? and that was just one example. scroll his zkill, he has countless kills like that! whatever, this conversation is over. i tried explaining and prividing evidence but nothing will get through to you people. bye!

yes he is suspect baiting , thats adrians thing and he is good at it.

we just found another one. suspect baiting or not, how can you explain this?

and there are probably more, but we won’t waste anymore time combing through his zkill.
