Show your creative/funny ship name

You should know better to post that without a source.

Edit;

Why bother really? The games far beyond that at this point.

Was fun looking up old names though!

A little bird, from another blog. Something about some James guy, run by a really cute princess. (But I conveniently and temporarily forget the name of that site, or it’s URL because [redacted] and might get the thread locked)

Plus I don’t need “sources” to rumor monger and gossip. You know that.

You see that is entirely wrong because you did not yet learned how to Doublethink properly because the Inner Party is physically incapable of being hypocritical for the simple fact whatever they decide is truth.

Consequently even if such an example exists that supports your claim you just think of it improperly and in fact it supports CCP’s and their GM’s side as their reimbursement of such cases is clear evidence they don’t reimburse unreasonably.

Also according to latest Inner Party announcement: for the next couple hours 1 + 1 = 7 just so you know and our glorious forces of Oceania have always been at war with Eastasia and winning the war.

We don’t have any of those issues in Cobrastan, so I can’t really relate.

double plus good

My first Vexor was Vexatious I, but otherwise I’m more about associations I’ll remember.

The Endurance fitted for ice mining is Shackleton. For shuttles, for each faction’s variant I use a different space shuttle name (Atlantis, Endeavour, Discovery, etc.). And so on.

Winston was weak, so he died.

That was the moral, right?

Yes and he was a coward.

He was not to blame for his physical weakness but his moral one, he didn’t have the will to stay true to himself.

He chose the easy way out and in the end rather loved the thing he despised the most than to stand up for what (he thought) he really loved (Julia, freedom, independence, truth, justice and so on), instead he submitted to the evil that he so despised and hated, because it was the easy path to walk.

And the sad thing is one way or another this happens on a daily basis.

What?

No! Thats completely missing the point.

He should have embraced Big Brother from the start. He should have brought Julia’s head to the Securitat from page one and demanded to be admitted to its ranks.

So many people totally think his weakness is giving in. His weakness was resisting pointlessly. Such a man canot be trusted not to give an inch when the enemy arrive on his door step.

Ok then, what is it?

Apart from villifying anything where people help other people. Way to be a great guy, Orwell, btw. How many of your friends did you hand into MI6 again?

agains force there is no resistance
since the beginning they both knew they would be arrested and they would betrayal each other
the book is a masterpiece in teaching us the strategies of a totalitarian ideologic driven regime
with great insights like changing the past
changing the language to change the thought
very important nowadays

Winston and Julia are just our eyes in the history

the moral is , don’t let it happen

but at the time Orwell was just talking about Communism , some say fascism… same thing

The best way to attack any fortress is from within.

Winston and Julia are exact depictions of what not to do, and Orwell was a muppet and a traitor.

Shall we put a stop on this convo here before we get the thread locked? Several of us live in glass houses and are throwing stones.

Yes but this is all obvious. It does not make him less of a coward or show him betraying his own thoughts even if he already knew he will when they are caught. A story can have several lessons not just one and also aside of the lessons different conclusions can be made of the same story both completely valid and factual at the same time so not really seeing your claim how the other views can be considered wrong.

I’m just saying that is impossible for Winston to resist
its one of the lessons of the book

the first line i used is a quote from inmates in brazil jails

contra a força não ha resistencia
agains force there is no resistance

they say that because you can be the most bad ass dude ever and you will fail against some guys trying to kill / ■■■■ / torture you . its inevitable

imagine trying to resist to a omnipotent regime

That is true. But my point is he could choose to suffer and die. He chose to live as supporter of the evil regime. He chose loving Big Brother. That was his real death, dying being free individual… he could suffer and die AS a free individual or live as a slave.

Support the Regime.

Stand beside The Ruler.

Shoot in head.

There you go, its really not hard.
