Yea stopped playing eve because i cant waste billions in the Abyss without a test server. Was ready for it , paying more real money but now…this is game over.

There must be a way to find information about how things work. There are countless things in EVE on which there is little to no information available on Tranquility. There are all sorts of guides and wiki but they can’t tell you everything, not to mention that the information may be obsolete. And more to the point, they won’t give you the SKILL. Now that Singularity is off, you are supposed to deploy your first POS or fly a dread/carrier for the first time on Tranquility without any prior experience and learn everything the hard way. Seriously???
This seems to be yet another shameless move to shift balance in favour of larger entities and older players, as though they had not alredy got enough advantage.

Just a suggestion.
CCP can try to cater to both sides by having Singularity open for 3 days in a month or open for every 2.5 hours per day.
Limited access might be the way to go, like using Evermarks to access that 2.5 hours on Singularity.

Lol, I just plexed my account after not playing for two years plus. I wanted to make some ISK running burner missions like I had done before but I can only remember a limited amount of details about those missions.
Well, no problem I thought, I’ll log into Singularity and do a few test runs first. What a delight it was to realize that the test server was shut down.
Honestly, after all this time you suddenly realized that running a test server 24/7 is not that beneficial or too much of a training ground for risk averse players? I really don’t get this.
On the other hand, having a test server is not a God-Given right.

This is just a greedy decision. Use tranquility to test your expensive fits, who cares if it blows up. Go and buy more plex, it is all they want.

Since July no player has had access to the test server to test their own things?
Can anyone say when and if the Sisi will be available again? A discussion about whether access, limited to hours or days, should be honored with or without a reward is pointless and without basis unless CCP comments on whether there is any serious interest in making Singularity available again. So please give us a date !

The OP is four months old. It’s CCP’s fault that they are vague about almost everything. So its anyones guess when may that time come when Singularity will be available to public.
When.the.next.mass.test.is.available.sisi.will.be.opened.up.
And if you look at the last few threads under this subform you would see that there was a mass test in october where they opened up sisi
They announced Oct 17 that on Oct 19 they would do a mass test. They had it open for several hours

I’m a newbro (less than 6 month) and I recently found about SISI server and its sadly shut down. I’d like to give my perspective about it: The games should be played to have fun, and believe me, spend several hours hitting a NPC rats for days to have some isk and do some fun content (i like pvp), it comes boring.
It would be a really nice policy to let us use the SISI again so we can explore the best ways of earning and burning isk having fun.
If you are really worried about the status of Eve, I think you should aim all your efforts into bots and its mechanic of isk printing.

I can’t believe Sisi has been shut down. I’ve been playing for literally twelve years now, on and off, and I just started another round recently. Sisi was always a place where you could test out game mechanics in a way that is just inaccessible on TQ. No other MMO has a sandbox server you can choose to play around with things, it’s one of the things that makes eve great and unique.
Coming back to the game now, I’m just so incredibly disappointed. This isn’t going to get people to spend more money on plex like you want them to. It’s going to make them decide that expensive endeavors are too risky to pursue, so they’ll just quit instead. This is going to reduce player count and your revenue.

Idea: plex/evermarks for sisi access maybe 50,000 evermarks or 30 plex for access for 1 day.
The test server is still unavailable. As others have mentioned already, this makes it possible to test game mechanics you can’t do savely on TQ. For example testing behavior of the relativly new Lancer Dreads one could not do on TQ without risking a loss of a very expensive ship or risking to kill ships of friendly volunteers to test things on.
We really would like to have an explanation of why the test server is unavailable and when it will be up again to regular public access. I explicitly mean for regular usage and not just for some mass tests.

Test server should be for mass test. Not learning how to beat content with no risk

This is just greed and laziness. You don’t want to make effort, instead you want more people not knowing how things work to make gank easier.

I want people to fly on TQ and experience in thru trial and error on the main server.
Not thru some test server so they can learn how to best beat a site. That isnt in the spirit of what Eve Online is suppose to be

You should know that it takes about a minute to check on your pvp activities in EVE. Zkillboard confirms that you are a dedicated ganker. So, you are also a verified liar.
Your record also suggets you are too experienced to be unavare that there is a wide range of activities for which EVE does not offer a feasible to practice on TQ.
Is there something like ignore list on this forum? There are a few people flooding every thread with the same nonsense, and it would have been good to have them filtered.
Solo kills dont equal ganks, especially cause those were in losec or null.
The only “ganks” that are on his "record " that i cared to look for is against ccp/gms
