If one does something like this, it would mainly be in lowsec FW. Null is just too inflated, it would be very hard to accomplish much, and definitely too costly …
Im not sure how I could go about trying to prevent afk botting / multiboxing in any way with FW currently, but if I were to start somewhere with such resources, that would be it.
If I had $40k to blow on Eve, I would set up a mineral reserve in some system near a major trade hub. I would put up notices that all mining is prohibited. Then I would pay mercenaries to blow up everybody trying to mine, 24/7, endlessly.
Then we could allow nature to heal and replenish. We would have some nice unmined asteroid belts to look at in highsec, rather than the stripped bare, sad, forlorn, empty space that we have now. It would be like a tourist destination. Someplace like Halaima, perhaps.

Given the content of this thread, I still have a hard time figuring out how the “Oh ■■■■ yeah spread it” meme was so offensive that it required an instant deletion…
I mean, this thread has been very constructive and everyone in it has been courteous towards one another, right…? No forum rules broken in here
