Despises this gameplay, yet solo kills explorers and takes part in 50+ nullsec mindless drone fleets. Okay miner.
Aaaaaand this is a prime example of the straw man fallacy.
Io asked you a pointed and direct question and you go off on some emotional tirade that had nothing to do with argument trying to force it into direction of âfeelingsâ and subjective nonsense so you can better defend it.
Solo killed an explorer or two to protect our territory, and joined a mindless fleet once, all the kills are from one battle, else how would i know i dont like it? Feel free to check my zkillboard at your leisure.
hm, just no
No he asked me a direct question and i gave him a direct answer.
How is that different from ganking a miner to protect my territory?
Are you that dumb i have to explain the difference between high sec and null sec?
I will refer you to the wiki there, and maybe the rookie channel ingame.
Are you dumb?
CCP Rattati stated at Fan Fest that Highsec is a full pvp zone, as pvpcentric as any other region, and that Highsec is explicitly NOT a new player rookie zone. He emphasized that ganking is an intended game mechanic.
Ganking is approved gameplay and NOT a form of griefing.
So that means there is no new player zone, new players are prey and they can f*** off and go play some other game.
No wonder the game has no new player retention and is slowly dying since 2013, accelerated by the changes to industry and the price increase but the trend was already there.
Why should new players be protected?
Because if you dont they will not stay
Thatâs an opinion, but not a fact.
Many new players ENJOY pvp.
Yeah 3 or 4 of them come every year iâm sure. But the game loses players every year and there is a reason, new players are not welcome and every old player that leaves is a net loss for the game. Just make an online research, the game is a husk of what it used to be. Maybe it is time to change the philosophy from âNEW PLAYER GO F*** YOURSELFâ
You are making an emotional argument, but you are not basing your opinions upon verifiable facts. CCP has the data, and they clearly feel that PvP content retains new players. You can cry, but your opinion is irrelevant.
This is not an emotional argument at all. This is as logical as it goes. Just look at the numbers in 2013 and compare them to now. Maybe i am wrong on the why it is happening but it certainly doesnt help when a new player gets ganked the minute they leave the rookie systems. And why would my opinion be irrelevant exactly, why every pro-ganker has a relevant opinion and not me.
I am sure CCP has datas and uses it as toilet paper and enjoy squeezing whateverâs left in the pocket of the players that remain.
There is no evidence that a declining player count has any correlation to PvP in Highsec. CCP has studied the data, and they clearly disagree with you.
I mean they just increased the price of omega/plex by 33%, i am sure they do have data but i am very sceptical as to how they read them. And maybe there is no evidence but this is just obvious that an unwelcomed new player will not give the game a chance.
Which only shows you missed the forest for the trees.
The question was the point, not your predicable answer. You yourself answered âI donât gankâ, so logically everyone can see that you yourself cannot know âhow easyâ it is âwith funding of nullsec blocsâ.
The point was merely posing the question for you to reflect and realize all your irrational and emotional uninformed bluster is precisely that: uninformed. No one is buying it.
I donât see how you can do, as Safety would be out of business if they were spending more on ganking than they looted. I doubt Retrievers make them much ISK, but that is made up for by 1bn ISK ganks of haulers, etc. In general any gankers have to have more ISK coming in than they are spending.
I dont gank but i know how it works. Happy?
The only thing i find irational and emotinal is how you guys want to keep the game stagnant and dying
