Then be less lazy with your replies. If your initial reply had stated something along the lines that it probably isn’t feasible because they are just about everywhere we’d be done. But it wasn’t it was a 2 word “they are” with an edited “can spawn everywhere”
then stop giving advice that you don’t know work or not. That is being stupid with your replies.
Also I found system with sec status .9 or 1.0 that had conduit. I wrote them in the list.
total visited 51 systems. Only waited in Uttindar, other systems just made a quick check.
40 out of the 51 systems had a conduit.
Besides Hek and its neighbor Uttindar, all the other 31 system with sec >.8 had a conduit.
So if you want to mine an ore that only spawns in <.9 system you are very likely screwed.
in the .9 and 1.0 systems : 8 had no conduit, 9 had one.
edit : I made this because I actually had noticed that all the systems I explored in had a conduit, but did not take rigorous notes. Now it’s done. BTW I usually don’t go in .9+ systems, the ded4 can’t spawn there.
This 100%
From my experience I have only encountered Trig Scout groups in systems with Emerging Conduit anomaly sites.
So do we have a DEV that can confirm!
NO Triglavian squads in non conduit systems?
So you train up to a Exhumer and can not tank, now normal belt rats.
That is a nerf.
While true. If you look above it seems the emerging conduits have spread quite a bit. I’ve been super busy this past month so I haven’t played much beyond daily login stuff. I do recall the last time I flew around extensively there seemed to be more empty systems. I had to go further to find a system that had a conduit to run. So I guess they have expanded.
Sure, but it still doesn’t negate the fact that the Trig Recon packs only spawn in systems that have those sites.
True that
You can also use the agency window to check for nearby conduit combat anomalies so can probably figure out a system nearby that doesn’t have any… also due to CCP Quality Coding™ sometimes the conduit sites are stuck in the agency window so you see them even if at the moment a new one haven’t spawned yet, this is why sometimes there are like 9 or more conduit sites listed in the same system according to the agency window.
I just open the scan window after jumping into a system to see if there’s any active Emerging Conduit sites. However I do check the Agency to see where FOB’s, Triglavian Invasions and Sansha Incursins are located.
The Agency is not at all accurate ! We have noticed many inconsistency with it.
Need to have resolution to mining issues in high sec.
If a person can not go mining “SOLO” in high sec. In an Exhumer That is an issue.
Care Bears are welcome in the game, a person has the right to move at their pace or game play preferences.
Once again forcing out the small Corp’s!
Just remove the Triglavian Squads. Unless an invasion is in systems.
Use them to test botters, not every one in the game.
They are in the starter systems, even the new brows got to deal with them?
How long will a solo Venture last? You have to fit a battle bait Exumer in high sec???
Ease up on the BRENNIViN, and take care of the customer complaints or drink more BRENNIViN and get it together.
I want CCP to address this.
Some thoughts on dealing with hi-sec Triglavian recons squads.
WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO! Not at all.
Mining is usually a first intro to the game remember having to warp off in your venture?
Then you learned and skilled up, got to the point where all you had to do was watch out for a
PVP dude (or other gender) dropping in and taking you out. NOW the game takes you out, did the price or ore go so high that we can spend our time Grabbing one rock then warp to the next belt trying not to be pod’ed?
I know they hired a consultant from the west Virgina coal mines school of how to abuse your workers.
I don’t actually like the current status of the Trig Recon content but I don’t think it should be removed from the game either. I think these Trig Recon groups should only be active in systems that border a Triglavian Invasion area.
Personally I think there should be some rhyme or reason to them. Like emerging conduits spawn in a constellation signaling an impending invasion. Or you could have multiple so you wouldn’t know exactly which system the invasion would spawn in. But not all over the place randomly
I am OK with the last 2 post, But i think you also agree the solution is in CCP’s hands.
We should not have to do anything but avoid them, but not to the extent currently imposed by the game mechanics.
You start playing a game where it is YOU LOOSE how long you going to play if the part of the game you enjoyed was gone?
The conduits are OK most PVE folks are enjoying extra PVE content in a Battle ship!
Not in a mining ship.
Well, I did the experiment mentioned in my earlier post. Using d-scan I scanned the system I intended to mine until I located the recon squad. Easiest way is to keep it set at 360 degrees starting out at 14.3 AU. Due to the size of the system I had to fly out to some remote stations to scan. Once I got them in the bubble, I reduced/increased the size of the bubble by around .5 between each “notch” on the slider till I had their range dialed in at +/- 0.1 AU. Then pulling up the locations tab set to “all” I proceeded to warp off to a POCO 20km out. Typically they are in a belt, POCO, or POS. This warp in was unfruitful, they were actually at a POS around 3200km out. For whatever reason, these POS generally don’t show up on the tab because I lacked docking access. Anyways, once there I killed off 4 of a squad of 5 recons with my Drake leaving the starving Damavik intact and warped off.
Once back at my station I hopped in the skiff and headed out to the belt, making a couple bookmarks at the end of each side, went back and got the Orca and started chewing the belt from one side to the other. Now these recons typically visit a location and only hang around for 2-3 minutes before they randomly warp off somewhere else. I saw the lone Starving Damavik off and on d-scan for a well over an hour before it finally warped in on the belt I was mining.
Then it did something interesting. Usually the Raznaborgs will target your ship and immediately start firing. From what I have seen they can hit as far as around 43km out. This one immediately targeted my ship, but was around 26km out, and actually took several seconds before it got a lock. But instead of just firing, it actually approached within 23km and first started siphoning my cap, then fired its weapon. This could be very important for Orca pilots. It means at least for the starving, the AI may be programmed to attack your ship before mining drones. By the time the recon did it’s thing, I had my drones up safely into my drone bay and was warping off before the first bar ever turned red on my shields.
I consider this to be a success.
Heh sort of, except when I started the mining frigate was the navitas
Right click in space, look for Asteroid belts, pick one and warp, move in to range target ore, mine!
Sounds like fun, if you like to figure out “the mechanics of the code” thats kool!
I think they should make a place in the sand box where you can play what are the rules of the game today. There are some SMART people playing this game.
Some people think clicking on a big rock is fun.
Others like to PVE / PVP
OR make it so profitable to kill them that we don’t loose our repair all ISK fund.
Just bring back the I just want to crack rocks today and I have the skills to tank and or blow them up.
What i want to see is the chart with membership and play time verses changes made to the game.
I am finished with this as I have spoken for some people I play with, this is making them lean towards not re subscribing. What they liked to do is gone so why stick around. That is all they care about.
They are not going to deal with them they are going to leave the game. Sucks to loose mates in a game.
Nothing to do, other than CCP paying off Concord to do there job. In high sec.
07 I await the pay off to concord.
OK you need help with the story line.
Breaking news today it has been discovered Triglaven spies have infiltrated Concord and have some how found a way to keep Concords ships D-Scan from detecting TRIGS. This has limited their ability to protect high sec from harassing capsulers . This will be fixed as soon as they are ETC… the end!
07
Interestingly, they showed up in a high sec relic site earlier and shot at my Astero. Didn’t think they’d come into sigs…
THAT is actually very interesting.
