Streamer stops due to grief

Yes I have posted that & would again as we are talking about harassment as well as toxicity

again not hateless specific people in this very thread have been harassed & rather aggressively

It is an example about his specific case what are you even talking about. Anyway where is the evidence? You canā€™t talk about a specific caseā€¦ or even in general without providing one.

@Hateless directly alluded to me threatening to kill him in this video, at 02:48:

And he spefically mentions 7 emails. I am very curious to see what at least one of those 7 emails looks like. Letā€™s be clear now: this is a perfect opportunity to get me banned, forever, across all my accounts, without any possibility of getting them un-banned and bared from creating any accounts ever again.
Why? This is a public EVE player and an EVE Streamer Parther. His face is visible and thus any threat would be credible. He mentions emails about killing him. That is the gravest of threats. Itā€™s not a threat of beating him or punishing him or just hurting him. Itā€™s about killing. And lastly: he mentions seven emails. That should prove my rezolve and should rule out a bout of anger. Done!
If he can prove that I am guilty of that, than I would be easily banned forever from EVE, without any possibility of appeal.
Now I gave him and everyone else the permission and even explicitly asked him to share the threatening emails. The ball is firmly in his court. Seven balls actually. I think one or two would be more than enough.

I know that I for one am a better human being because EVE has allowed me to explore (through expression) my darker tendencies that normally get repressed in the general population by societal and legal force. While itā€™s great that we have such a (fragile and artificially) safe society in the West, I wish we could afford more people the indulgence of learning just what monsters theyā€™re harboring in their shadows.

Ganking, bumping, and stealing is well within EVEā€™s limits.

Harassing and being toxic is another thing. We have seen cases of GINUINE harassment. This is clearly not it.

Clearly Adrian was playing his game well within the bounds of RP. The Amico Mafia sees no harassment here. 400+ posts and counting over this my goodness.

Funny and concerning at the same time. Happy for the transparency. Will Hateless also be transparent?

People stole event loot from my PVE sites. I have stolen event loot from otherā€™s PVE sites. Is this harassment? Clearly not.

Also by the way speaking of harassment and toxicity:

I was talking about me ā€” I have not accused you of sending death threats

Its a hectic situation for you both I personally donā€™t know enough which is why ive refused to comment on it specifically

Quick question ā€” Do you feel harassed by this situation or do you feel its turned toxic towards you at all?

Haaa-ha-ha-hah! It would take a whole lot more than this to even begin to make me think about feeling harassed, boyo.

It certainly did, not that Iā€™m negatively impacted about it, though. As far as Iā€™m concerned, keep it flowing.

I feel harassed by the situation.

I am trying to play a video game, a PvP video game in which PvP is explicitly allowed by design and intent. I feel harassed by crybaby whiny losers who endlessly complain about ā€œgriefersā€ and ā€œemotional distressā€ in a video game. Yes, it is a GAME. Getting your spaceship blown up is intended gameplay. Stop whining about it. Stop ranting endlessly about the ā€œgriefersā€ who beat you in a video game. They won fair and square, and you are the only one to blame for your own incompetence.

If EvE Online is upsetting you this much, the problem is not the so-called ā€œgriefersā€. The problem is YOU. Itā€™s time for you to find another game, and stop dragging this game down with your constant negativity and bittervet complaints.

Toxicity is a problem, yes. However, whining is a form of toxicity. In every aspect of society, there are real issues of harassment - but false allegations and exaggerated narratives are a distraction which makes it difficult to address genuine issues.

In my experience, the most toxic people in the game are Highsec miners like Hateless, because they are constantly either crying and pretending that someone is griefing them, or they are lashing out with anger, threats, and inappropriate language. They feel entitled to make maximum isk/hr, and they become abusive and throw temper tantrums if they canā€™t make as much isk as they want.

This isnā€™t about Hateless getting griefed.
This is about Hateless being greedy.

I would say in drama cases like this transparency is 100% critical. I am happy we have more details about this. I would love to hear Hatelessā€™s thoughts. I know where I stand on this.

I know itā€™s not directed towards me but public gankers know the weight they carry. Itā€™s baggage that comes with the career. I have a pretty tough skin in this game. I wonā€™t quit in real life or in EVE. I want my goals to be accomplished and I will get them accomplished.

Donā€™t like the person? Block them. See a real case of harassment? Report them and block them. Donā€™t let them live rent free in your head. Donā€™t like them? have them killed. (In EVE since people here donā€™t know what is RL and what is RP in EVE)

I should really make a fourm post about a winning mentality in EVE and in Real Life. People here sorely need to adopt a thick skin winning mentality.

So letā€™s see. A streamer gets bumped and ragequits streaming.

One of his fanbois comes to the forums in response and makes a thread about how we have to ā€œend toxicity and griefingā€ because his favorite streamer quit.

But OFC weā€™re supposed to believe that itā€™s not about their favorite streamer babyraging, or ganking, or bumping - itā€™s about real life death threats and ā€œswattingā€ and suicide yadda yadda bunch of other stuff thatā€™s already against the rules and has nothing to do with their favorite streamer - as per the title and content of the OP - quitting, which has nothing to do with their post about their favorite streamer quitting.

 If thats your takeaway from this thats it

both sides of this have admitted the situation is toxic & from our perspective it does suck for both of them

Probably because other people get harassed as well & no they are not banned just ask Aiko

It doesnā€™t suck for me. Iā€™m just rowing my boat in my ever-growing river of LOL.

Lmao @ ā€œyour factual account of what Iā€™ve said is just, like, your opinion manā€:clown_face:

So?

And we have to address the fact that they have many Omega accounts, they have an army of alts, they definitely can fight off their adversaries and they choose not to. They are bad players in EVE and for sure they are bad players in other games too.

When I see such big mining fleets I feel terrified and afraid, just imagining the consequences against my buy and sell ordersā€¦ they are griefing me in the market and I will open a ticket when I see many alts mining together for harassment.

Imagine having more than 1-2 Omegaā€™s in 2022.

@Jaurl_Kurvora , what about

and

and especially

?

Who were you referring to? Who do you want to be ā€œbanned ruthlesslyā€?

@Xuixien, I actually have 23 Omega accounts at the moment. :disguised_face: I know, Iā€™m a geeky nerd.
