Smart and efficient.
Id be willing to bet that most of the players that have been here a while do in fact do this. Theyre just not talking about it like this very small group is.
there’s a whole lot of people telling you exactly how to survive and you keep saying it’s impossible. If everyone except you can do something, the problem is you.
Nothing much change. As usual, Players and CCP do thier best to make each other gaming expriences miserable which is fun. Personaly. I already figured out and accepted long time ago that “EveOnline is a survival game”.
Thank you for the answer,
What programs are on fashion nowdays, like tifa and evemon. What about mapping tools?.
20 alts killed your 1 alt. That’s the math. 20 hyenas killed 1 lion. Both died in the process. Concord is always the winner.
dont be a joke. suicide ganking is undefendable.
If you want to play that game, my ship had a value of 45 times the fleet of the catalyst.
If that’s how the game works you should be able to put officer modules on it to increase the threshold of how expensive the ships need to be to be allowed to attack your ship! /s
Real talk, if you had fit your ship better (i.e. T2 buffer fit rather than bling active fit) while flying in HS you would have both increased the number of Catalysts needed to kill it and reduced the value of your ship compared to the value of Catalysts to destroy it.
In other words the ‘value 45 times’ was entirely your own mistake.
Are you saying you cannot defend against suicide ganks?
Because I repeatedly gave a bunch of hints earlier that you could use to defend against suicide ganks by both reducing the risks and the impact of suicide ganks.
If highsec is that scary to you, maybe best to move back into the safety of j-space.
. Tired of this mentality. best defense against SG’s is don’t let them catch you.
nah it’s more of a stealth game.
To think of it. Scarcity and Triglavian invasion was the best expansion. Nothing comes close yet. The New eden world was shaken to the core that time.
It’s just. For the triglavian Invasion, CCP chicken out and spared Uedama.
As I said: Mindset problem.
I survived several gank attempts over the years, dodged even more an sometimes even deliberately baited gankers into attacking me so they would lose their ships and I could collect all their loot.
Not surviving a gank is a lesson. It shows you where you made mistakes and where you can improve. If you chose to be ignorant, it’s your own fault.
Uedama was never eligible, the star is the wrong colour.
let’s be honest… piloting an entire fleet of bots using external programs is pure cheating, and that’s why I’m never going to put a penny into this game. CCP allows this nonsense? go ahead, but they won’t see any more money either
You do know that FC (Formerly known as CCP) do not allow this nonsense, right?
and if you have any evidence of people doing that, you should report it.
It’s also worth knowing that some folk are extremely able with alt-tab and configuring a set of clients so they can flick between 8-10 clients and operate them all.
High-sec is not the “wild wild west” that many make it out to be. It’s quite easy to reconfigure your Marauder for a passive/travel fit with relatively inexpensive modules - giving you upwards of 600k EHP and reducing the likelihood of a gank considerably.
I’m a bit late to this party, but honestly – you should fit your marauder with cheapo meta modules when in HS. No-one’s gonna bother ganking your T2 battleship in that case.
Yeah, there are Marauder fits that offer like 30M ISK in loot if ganked. They solve any L4 mission or event site with ease.
There are some gankers who will gank any Marauder just for the lol’s - regardless of value. My advice is to make it as expensive for them as possible by passive tanking (damage controls, armor of shield rigs and plates or shield extenders).
