My biggest issue is that the risk does not provide the reward, And the fact you can only run 3 in one day per toon… thats something that makes them not worth it.
Another fail release

The disgusting mess CCP has created in lowsec with this is … well a new low.
Vile.
Care to elaborate?
I dont understand whats to elaborate. Its what this event is, krabbing caps like bloated cows sitting in swarms.
Some ideas to make it work
This will stop blobing kiki/cormorant fleets from swarming over and add a small safe window to capiral ship inside.
I wasn’t challenging you. I was just curious if there was something going on with these things that I wasn’t aware of.
Of course, after reading your response, I’m now left with another question -how is that a new low? I mean, was there not already a bunch of krabbers doing krab things in LS before the event? Plus, isn’t it more content for whalers?
Now theres even more and if thats so where are these whalers?
If it was remotely dangerous there wouldnt be swarms of untouched caps.
I do not believe that you are even active in the game anymore.
Let alone fully understand what is at stake.
Stop trolling, and provide real feedback.
Your belief is unfounded, irrellevent and wrong.
I am, just because you dont like it doesnt mean I cant express it.
Dont you have important krabbing to do in your whale?
Actual feedback:
I ran 6 beacons so far. Received 1.351 bil in Loot ignoring mutaplasmids that I rolled having all of them negative rolls except a single one which had almost everything green. This takes into account 480
Took in total ~3h in a ship that deals 6000 DPS which comes down to 337mil / h roughly although 1 ESS was stolen from me which is to be expected considering it drove them up to 300mil+. Also what is about those blue loot buy quantities being 112 while you have after 1 beacon up to like 1200?
For comparison: With my setup of 3 Ishtars and a Carrier I make roughly 400mil/h with less risk and a far less expensive setup. Even considering the cost of the extra accounts the price difference in ships puts me to 30-40bil free to spend on omega. In conclusion: The sites are bad. Really bad. I don’t see why anyone would do them considering the far higher risk and only low chance to get a good drop which I am still to see.
Edit: I ran the sites in a 130%+ BRM system so the numbers above are inflated. Most likely it is more like 250-300mil/h. Also selling those blue loot items is pure pain as you sell them 112 at a time so you sit there for quite a while.
I suppose the above does show better what vileness this ■■■■ is.
Maybe CCP will sell Summon The Swarm Payout Multipliers in the CA$H shop.
Well, a week after release, @Brisc_Rubal is it ok to talk about these yet?
Cuz they ain’t doing well.
Sure. I expect we’ll see some changes based on the first week or so.
What kind of changes do you think they’ll make? Most of the complaints I’ve seen come down to it not making enough money for what’s at risk, and sometimes not even making enough money to cover the beacon’s build cost, or complaints about only being able to run 3/d per capital pilot.
The complaints I’ve seen have been along the same lines, and I have told them both before these launched and after that if the rewards aren’t sufficient to justify the use they’ll have to increase them. I don’t think they can really argue against doing that at this point, so that’s what I expect to see.
Do you know if they’ve given any thought to using the shiny not-really-new-anymore Diamond Rat escalation system they installed on the pirate sotiyos that let them evaluate what you brought, and meet it with commensurate force?
And if they have, why not just use that in all ratting anoms and be done with it?
If they haven’t… can you suggest it, maybe? At least mention that they have this tool that might be useful, and even solve their little problem of scaling?
Sure, I’ll suggest it.
Thanks.
Thank you @CCP
