The Dantelion Plan

When you try to offer solutions to allegded problems but then speak like this to people, it hurts your credit. Severely.

Understand this. This is the whole freaking point of The Plan.

Your EVE is dying. And if you are incapable of seeing why you are just among those who are helping it happen. It’s time to rethink things.

This is EVE, it’s having difficulties retaining new players, it’s riddled with structural problems, half of its systems are barely working, it has a terrible reputation, but hey, This is EVE.
This blind pride is exactly what I talk about when I talk about people who just don’t want us to see what is working out out there.

Your game guiding new players works, you hate it but it works.

Using mechanics to make your new players get your game works, you hate it but it works.

A new player starting zone that doesn’t make pilots learn to fleet up, to contest, is no such zone.

Like, are you blind?

Yes, it does! Your Instinct, hell it’s even automated, if we were to imitate Mother Nature we would script what new players do… like all others games out there do! Like the new NPE does!

Mother Nature give you the tools to survive and nurtures you when you start, you blind sophist. That’s EXACTLY what she does.

You can’t even grasp something that is right in front of you, and again all because of that misplaced Pride that makes you think that you play The game that can afford to do everything backward and still get away with it.

EVE-Uni is a band-aid, a good one, one that merits and deserve accolades, but still a band-aid. And the fact that CCP knew that they had to revisit the NPE, despite the existence of EVE-UNI, shows that they are conscious of it. That your solution of just dropping them right into the jungle is not a viable solution.

Since 2003
Bla bla blahhhhh :joy:

Please don’t rant.

Maybe he lives here. Kind of looks like it.

The very reason High sec is as bad as it is, you want to make worse by taking out EVERY SINGLE PART OF CONFLICT! NO. GO AWAY! Your idea is shite. No need to discus.

Why are you not with us?

So, to you, what makes EvE different from other MMOs?

I will humor that you are not just saying and yelling random words and that you have actually read me and understood me.

What are all those parts of conflicts I want to take out?

I eagerly await your response, provided you even have the capabilities to produce one.

A Free, and Open universe for Conflicts, Competition, and Invention.

What EVE offers is a space where people can fight each other at all levels, compete with each others for things they desire, and have the tools to invent situations unheard of in the world of Video Games.

Everything that doesn’t go against that is EVE, and trust me, I made sure each one of my ideas abided by this.

This is what EVE excels at, not at being merciless, not at being a supposed lawless murderbox, not at wanting to be a barren mudfield people call a ‘sandbox’, but at offering spaces where people can develop ideas, grow them, and then pit them against others.

There.

Actually that’s what it is

A place where the strong reign and the bad post on the forums for solutions to a game they don’t understand :joy:

Then do you understand that some people will consider placing limits on those freedoms to be contrary to the shared vision of the game as you describe it?

And yet you operate in hisec which has limits and the OP is merely talking about adjusting those limits. Are you telling me with your reply that hisec has no limits? You jest!

Im merely pointing out that he should’nt be suprised (or resort to insults and hand-waving away objections to his ideas) that people object to the idea of even further limits being placed.

My personal opinion of high sec and any limits therein is irrelevant this.

So what you are saying…, is that those people who get upset at people suggesting placing limits on areas of the game which already have limits are freely able to insult people who suggest adjusting limits and that those people do not have the right to say anything back to them?

No, what Im saying is literally what I have said.

It is effectively what you said, if you look at the thread the OP did not start it. He offered suggestions and people attacked him personally. I do not actually agree with many of his suggestions, but I see no need to get personal with the OP. Others were of course less mature.

EDIT: Highlighted the important part of the sentence so sensitive sensitive can work it out hopefully…

Immature is immature as per normal with sensitive sensitive.

I fail to see how this conversation is productive.

So what you’re saying is that we don’t have a right to an opinion on a matter we know very well

Gotcha

I wonder why this is. Perhaps the suggestions are terrible. Why do you think they did that?

IMPOSSIBRU!!
