I support you in this.
Because by CCP this was to be for new players I took a Merlin but quite good geared. Then went into a site.
Inside 9 NPCs: me instantly 6x webbed 6x neuted 9x scrambled/disrupted = dead in space.
Ship was destroyed as supposed;
Leason learned: not doable for new players at all and even average player will get troubles.
When I did the site a few days ago, I really had trouble to make sure my Wolf doesnāt cap out and there where like twice as more NPC as yesterday.
Yesterday there where less NPC in the first two or three spawns. I fact I often even where able to completely kill first two spawns without shield loss in my Armor Wolf. Only the last spawn before the acceleration gate gets enabled seem to have the quality of enemies like a few days ago.
Furthermore, time between spawns seem to be much longer now so that you can recover a bit before the next wave arrives.
Final notice: please be aware that I am using a non-specifically optimized setup on the Wolf. I am sure with an optimized PVE only setup specially made for this event, even in the past this would have been easy doable in a Wolf, and probably with every other Assault Frigate.
Would it be feasible in a SAAR Dramiel?
Maybe the Hunt site, but definitely not the Huntsmaster site.
You can check what kind of ships have been killed by them on zkb.
Look for Hunt Worm, Condor, Kestrel, Gila, etc. as well to give you an idea of what kind of ships have died to them.
2-15 mil in Hi Sec now
Then do them in lowsec. Iām getting 80m easy per Huntsmaster site.
I put it at more like 2-30 on average, but the ~300m C3-X BCS does drop in high sec, too. Itāll warm your heart when it happens.
Huntmaster sites located in low sec => caldari FW space are doable in a passive fit tanked WORM.
I manage to do some when i got the chance. Just get distance waves are slowly coming in drone range.
Nothing special. Last npc is a pain but also doable if you manage your capacitor and not use cap for anything else then invul.
I did it in a cheap Incursus with an Alpha, I think how fast the site aggresses you will catch some players out if they are only used to normal site PVP, but it is a good opportunity to learn.
I have run site in high and low sec. I have found the worst loot in low sec 0/2 , 3.5mil but in general the average is about 60mil, with gecko and 18th OSPE dropping regardless of sec status. Huntsman sites should be dropping well over 80mil⦠lots more.
Hey Anneā¦which fit did you use?
can i see you fit for the passive worm?
align to one - narrow the angle . if no scan, align to another ⦠youāll soon get the idea
C3-A 5 drops, oveerserās 20, 16, 12, 2 geckos, a lot of skins, my friend got 5 geckos, C3-X, a lot drone salvage loot, worth about 300mil for gecko bluprint, all in high sec
Yeah, this time loot drop is pretty good compared to skill and ISK investment required to run the sites.
I love collecting SKINs and clothes so this event is a win in my opinion. Plus you get good ISK while doing it.
Lol, I opened a bug report and got my lost keys reimbursed ā¦
Guys, when you thin you found a bug, then report it
first you find the pods by adding irregular capsule to overview in the overview settings⦠like this
then you do the site with a good frigate like this
Yeah, the sites seemed especially brutal the first couple days, now it seems theyāre more balanced.
However in my opinion receiving multiple standing hits for participating in the event is unacceptable.
Have you observed any increase in difficulty of those sites after Easter? After Tuesdayās downtime, one wave looked like double wave few days back. Several Condors, Worms and Griffins - my Enyo got completely neuted in few sec. I completed many of those sites before and can deal with multiple condors and worms in sigle wave, also can deal with heavy neut pressure, but yesterdays wave was too much.
The biggest question now is how our fits will work after todayās updateā¦
