The problem with your logic is that I too have family, work, friends, time enough to go for long strolls in the mountains, and other hobbies in addition to Eve.

you dont fly marauder because of the increased risk due to 90% drops? thats your decision and less risk = less reward seems fine to me
i can understand that it sucks to complete the reward track with combat sites if you cant contest the boss and i would not mind if it was 2000 damage done on him instead of getting the wreck for the points.
why all the drama though, when you could do the hacking sites to get those skins? you can do these with very little isk and sp investment and there are no marauders competing with you
90% drop chance for a T2 Module fittet marauder doesnt care any ganker xD its not a reason not to fly a marauder its just an excuse because your to lazy and you wanna cry about a dude who´s better then you
there is absolut no need to fit any faction modules on a marauder in HS ! its just your ego ⌠and yes i have also a about 4b HS mission Kronos ( but everybody could know my ego is big

You just have to jump few systems away to do this event in perfect safety and loneliness.
You can even hire someone to gank that marauder for you. Some miners hired a ganker recently to dunk a Paladin who was stealing the loot â the EVE way

its his decision, not mine and to be honest i can understand where that comes from since quite a few basic t2 fitted marauders got ganked at the start of the event. ganking is basically a nobrainer during the 90% loot drop.
at the start i was very careful and used a very beefy and hard to gank fit with hg clone, but it was apparently not needed, so i switched to a pve optimized fit (only t2 though) and marauder down poor fellows like the op, or eventually switch to a pvp fit and steal loot from those that outpve me due to more bling
if you dont care about your surroundings then its your fault to get ganked⌠its not much effort to avoid this still at a 90% drop rate ! the OP is just crying because ppl who are better can beat him.
