The kill of the battleship in the event sites shall go to the player who started the site

where the hell was this out of context … you said “ganking is a nobrainer” and i answered "if you get ganked its your fault "

and it doesnt matter if you get 90% loot or 50% loot … if you are scared about ganking youre doing it wrong and if you get ganked youre doing it wrong aswell …

i never got ganked, not sure why you are assuming it or try to imply it, again…

ofc it matters, ganking is a numbers game and those are screwed during the 90% drops.

i am not scared about gankers, just careful which is the first step to not get ganked, period.

again, i did not get ganked. however, if you dont understand that every ship can get ganked you are wrong. see what i did there

at this point i think you dont even realize you are permanently making strawmans

ive never said you get ganked i just answered youre post …
and no it doesnt matter if there is 50% or 90% drop chance … yes gankers gonna gank more but why are they even able to gank ? cause everyone of their victims doesnt watch their surroundings and allowed them to gank an easy target !

maybe my wording wasnt the best thats always possible… but content is still correct !

ganking only exist because there are to many lazy and unawared ppl flying around ! if this stops then ganking would stop

For example I’m using gate keys and finish the last room as fast as possible in a cheap 800 DPS Legion. If a Marauder enters, I’m just leaving and go elsewhere. BUT I was only doing the highsec sites for faster point collection, as you get 30 per site compared to 10 per data site. Also I wanted to once fly a laser boat.

For ISK and fun I’m around Turnur hacking the advanced sites in a Hecate, and scare or kill competition where possible. Each site is about 150M average, so it pays for a bit short of 2 Hecates I can lose, but losing Hecates is hard, if you are not committing to a fight.

What do I want to tell you, two things, fly cheap compared to the rewards/targets, factor in losses, be scary as a bonus. This approach to EvE has kept me around having fun for the last years.

See you say that, but then you don’t want to play by its rules and you are trying to change them…

See, but they do risk it and thus they are reaping benefits of that risk. You have chosen fly riskless so I don’t know what are you complaining about.

Fully agree, just happened to me, what a stupid game mechanic

no you just concordokken your own 4b kronos in an event site … its not a bad game mechanic its easy avoidable
why is it your fault ? because you used a smartbomb ( i assume ) and for this you need to go saftey red in HS. now 2 things :

  1. you dont know eve´s game mechanics and now you cry because you lost a 4b ship to your fault
  2. you know about game mechanics and still cry because you lost a 4b ship to your fault

No that was a few days ago when i accidentally fired my smartbomb ;(

Today a kronos swooped in a killed the battleship as i was in my tengu

I didnt cry about the kronos because it was my stupid fault, i blame mr jack daniels but meh lol

and now you want to gank this dude because he´s better then you ? xD

That’s a perfectly valid EVE thing to do, kind of a tradition really, get revenge on someone whatever way possible (within game rules ofc).

i know it is an sure its withing the rules… i´m fully aware of this but cmon xD its rudiculus if you want a dude ganked because he´s better then you and you now missed what … 50m isk ? xD

i can understand if the kronos pilot has harassed him for weeks or somethin but … an event site … xD

EDIT: but i cant understand this from a former goon pilot … he´s now without his s-cap umbrella

where is that rascal my friend, we will teach him a lesson

Back in the days when every player corp could be wardecced people and their entire corps got war declared upon them for much less, like a member saying something dumb in local. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yes, you are partly right. but i´m sure theese ppl where not wardeced because someone want revange!
they got wardecced because someone want an easy target  and writing stupid things in local are good to see who´s not the brightes candle on your cake.

EDIT : but you if you got wardeced you know who´s coming and whats coming  and either avoid the war or go in the offense and lets see who´s the stupid dude

PIRAT seeing a non NPC Corp piloted hauler leaving Jita was enough to get you decc’d.

Eve is an exciting solo game in high sec thanks to the hunters and combatants. Without that, the shitty PVE wouldn’t be fun. Thanks, guys!
