The newly nerfed ore anomalies

I was exaggerating, of course. Still, players have been able to bring in massive amounts of ore in null, to the point where they were cranking out supers like they were frigates. A change had to be made at some point.

1 single good fitted rorq is 8b and its producing 100m/h so you need 10 of them to mine 1b per hour

Wow. I thought the highsec miners were crybabies. You nullsec guys truly are in a different league.

You know it baby! :kissing:

Self entitled, primitive, dumb twats. The sole reason why CCP catered to them for the last years was because they are the ones who are most easily milked out of their money. The dumbest of the dumb. I’d call them cows, but cows are actually smart!

What happened over the last years, and what they can’t even remotely grasp, is that CCP first attracted them, then abused them and now throws them away after being sufficiently satisfied. It bothers me a lot to come up with this analogy, but it’s so perfectly accurate it’s not even funny.

yeah are,
i produced a titan per week. Now i am ■■■■■■ because they ■■■■■■ the only one thing i enjoyed in this game producing stuff…

You can’t dock in an NPC station with a titan, so what good are they?

Don’t you think that is a bit fast?

Rorqs made 90m/hour, less than high sec incursions, high sec conduits, running t4/5 abyssals, running burner missions or running regular t4 missions. This notion that rorqs made billions an hour is a meme from the uninformed. High sec has been better isk than rorq mining for years now.

Oh boy, there is literally nothing else to produce! You’re totally not a spoiled brat, nooooo!

Except one, none of these can be done afk. Guess which one pays 90 million isk per hour for watching pornhub.

it’s not about being spoilt. If you played the game to mine and for industry then the game isn’t very compelling right now. Economics 101, if something is fun or useful, people will pay for it, if it stops being fun or useful, they won’t.

Nobody can reasonably expect players who opted for mining/industry as their main Eve activity to stick around. Some will try other activities, but a lot will unsub until the redistribution stage of this process, which is entirely legitimate, you can’t please all of the players. The dificulty in MMO design is to keep all pursuits cool and fun. Greg Street (former lead WoW dev and now League of Legends dev) called it “concentrated coolness”, make all classes/professions viable but within their niche. I don’t see how this mining nerf really helps achieve that.

My prediction: Blackout 2.0 with an unsub spike.

i dont when i have 80b+ on the field for like 30-35 hours

It is! He built titans! One per week! It was, according to him, the only thing he enjoyed! He’s a spoiled brat and all he deserves is spanks for crying like a ■■■■■ about it.

Nobody does! Is that hard to understand? Literally nobody expects that! CCP wants to get rid of people like him! That’s not an opinion, that’s a fact! It’s clear as daylight! They’ve abused idiots like him and now they want to get rid of him! No one cares! Really! He can cry like a ■■■■■ all he wants, when he leaves CCP wins! Boom, that’s all there is to it!

I’m sorry for sounding so harsh/aggressive. I just now realized that CCP forces their inventory onto us. The red buttons everywhere. It’s as if we’re all retards who can’t remember that we’ve been putting stuff into our cargo holds. Quite insulting, actually. And all that crying is just making it worse. Seriously guys, get over yourselves. You’re not even half as important as you think you are and crying isn’t going to help. They want you miners gone.

Editting my post, because some wannabe dictator tries to hide it.

You’re very passionate @z0ra_Berg and I agree with some of what you’ve said. CCP is a business so I doubt their goal is to intentionally reduce the amount of players paying a sub. We saw that with the Blackout, as soon as the pop dropped to below 20k Blackout was cancelled at short notice. Loads of high sec carebears rejoiced in the Blackout just like these ore changes and were so shocked when their Eve worldview didn’t pan out as they hoped.

I don’t think intentionally driving off players and being triumphant about that is smart here. We need all of the many career paths Eve provides to be engaging, fun, rewarding and have some form of long term hook to keep people paying a sub.

It seems clear that CCP just wants to combat the null sec stagnation.

1000 titans a week, like a car factory.

i am paying for 19 accounts because i dont want to mine 1 week to buy the plex to sub them , no i will stop paying 11 of them or just skill the for something else i dont like that much and after 1-2 moths will stop playing at all

But you still mine 30-35 hours a week.

Maybe at the end of the process, but the current changes to ore anoms is a huge nerf to building of ALL ships. If they wanted to nerf just caps they could have increased the ore needed to build only them.

1 null ore anom provided enough ore for hundreds of t1 cruisers before this change. Now an ore anom provides enough ore for building 1.5 cruisers (yes 1 and a bit t1 cruisers for an entire ore anom).

The price of t1 ships is going to skyrocket and that’ll hurt all the newer players in high sec.
