The Orca

I said I’m living behind those choke points. Assuming you live in high sec, you’ll need to pass choke points (that aren’t my doing) to get to where I live.

I can do choke points …now gimme your Orca …and your little dog too.

Sorry, haven’t mined in a while and don’t have an Orca right now. Also no dog.

Another person person says “we”…hey give a list of who “we” are.

Sure:

Three instances of ‘we’ in that post.

  1. we - players who have the interest of the game in mind over their self-interest
  2. we - same as 1.
  3. we - players and CCP

Less populated? There you go with deflection.

They’re war zones. They’re dead. The population of systems after the Borg visited was less too. That’s what y’all want right? Are you with the “we” crowd or on your own?

Cool, a submersible Orca going fishing. I want one.

Not if “we” have their way.

Jerry, you have no idea what a group of players want numbered greater than 1.

The self-interest in the anti-Orca crowd is as obvious as the stink off road kill skunks in July. As I said before this is a false narrative because “we” knows low and null are dead and you want hi sec.

“We” acts like they speak for 1, 2 and 3 and “We” don’t. All three groups are playing the game this weekend while you all are in here repairing the devastating damage I’ve done to your narrative. Otherwise I would be alone right now.

I’ve said what I believe and stated that all the people in hi sec have spoken for themselves.

Hi sec is thriving, with freedom, Orcas and commerce. And you want to take away the votes of people in hi sec.

No. People tend to gravitate towards what suits them.

And most people aspire to a low effort life. They don’t try hard at school and look for easy work. There is more unskilled labour than skilled. Even in wealthy countries.

That’s hi-sec.

Is literally the reason they game is getting nerfed to hell right now. High sec is boring and creating a piss poor NPE.

High sec is so boring that CCP had to create NPC’s that hunted players down, invaded their systems and blew up their homes (or steal them away to another dimension) just to stop high-sec being boring.

Jerry? You’re being a bit familiar.

Are you friends with this guy, Gerard?

Not at all.

Let me be very clear: I’m not anti-Orca.

I’m against Orca solo mining. I love the support the Orca brings to a mining fleet. If it were up to me, I’d nerf the Orca’s mining yield and buff their support capabilities as compensation, so it has a healthy place in the game as mining support ship without pushing mining barges and exhumers out of their intended role as miners. Ships in EVE are very specialised, which is a good thing as that means no ship is able to do it all by themselves and people have to make choices. Except the Orca is able to do mining all by itself very well with significant survivability, a huge ore hold, fantastic fleet support capabilities and decent mining yield on top of that - a mining yield that’s higher than that of mining barges like the Procurer which are supposed to be specialised for mining.

Jack of all trades, master of none. That could be a good role for a ship like the Orca. Except the Orca in it’s current form is actually the master of quite a few trades.

Shifted gears to insults…man the grinding sound of a failed narrative and desperation. Not even bothering to push in the clutch {ggrrrhk…ggrrrrgk…grrrch…gggrrrclank].

The mask really slips here…any of you “We” people want to come in and salvage this disaster?

So, the next splash page from CCP is going to show knuckle dragging paying customers with the caption, “If you’re too lazy to play like we want you to play, “We” will make you play the way we want you to play.”

Man the Omega counter will spin off its axle.

I don’t remember asking for that.

Everything that disagrees with you is a deflection.

If that’s an insult to you it must be because you think it speaks to you personally.

FYI I’m a hi-sec player.

I don’t know what you consider a new player - I’ve been playing just at 4 months.

I do know this:

I can’t even play a mission in 0.4 space - facing bunches of battleships and web ships, who have reduced my tank way down - without getting 9 gankers coming into the mission and finishing me off when I had a good chance to finish the mission. Ruined my standings also as it was a storyline mission.

Why would I EVER go into low-sec, much less null-sec ever again with crap like that happening. I’m not a PvPer and, no matter what you gankers say, I don’t intend to do PvP. AND that ain’t PvP - that’s attacking defenseless players that don’t want to PvP. And if I hear EVE IS PvP one more time, I’ll know how stupid you gankers are - there’s nothing anywhere that says I have to PvP. Sorry, no more victim here.

You can’t force people to play the way you want. That’s what’s eating you, driving you to say that high-sec must be nerfed - because you don’t have enough people stupid enough to give you themselves as a pinata for your pleasure - it isn’t pleasure for the victims.

You’re just a bunch of ganker-whiners that want to take away the shepard from the sheep they’re gonna fleece.

Before I give you another victim of your wet dreams, I will stay in-station and manufacture stuff. I don’t actually care what you think about what I do.

L5 missions were not meant to be done solo. So yea you can’t do L5 missions solo. CCP considers new players within their 30 days of starting

I agree, if you have no intention in getting involved with PvP interactions, you have no business in null sec or low sec. High sec, if you stick to certain rules (no expensive or easily killed ships, watch your surroundings, etc) is relatively free from PvP interactions.

But do remember that EVE is a PvP game: even if you choose never to initiate PvP yourself you cannot stop others from shooting you in this PvP game from the moment you undock.

Yes I can - I can use a blockade runner with cloak and interdiction module - get a grip, mate.
