The Orca

Literally what you started doing. Also, it really does since the problem with eve is cliental and retaining them. A sense of progression solves this problem pretty easily so long as the game isn’t a WoW ripoff which eve isn’t.

What ad hominem did i do?

So does a straight forward yield nerf. And it’s much easier.

Look at how defeated you are. You honestly just posted that a straight forward yield nerf provides a sense of progression.

Saved a screen shot incase you go back on your word since you’re clearly being hot headed.

Honestly, you should stop posting daichi since clearly you don’t even have an argument. You’re just being combative. Better off playing call of duty if you’re gonna be like this.

Did you mean to screenshot my ad hominem? Cause i dont understand what you’re getting at.

You said the ‘problem is clientele and retaining them’. Well a yield nerf solves the problem with eve.

I think you’ve gotten confused. The only hot headed combative one here is you.

And thats just one post mate.

Na, you’re just being one of those shady people who rely on other’s ignorance. People are telling you that they will quit and you’re pretending like it hasn’t been posted. Furthermore, you started it but I’m not gonna work for you because you simply aren’t worth it. You think you can smack someone across the cheek and expect no return fire? For some reason you can’t get it through your thick head that disrespecting paying customers who put their time into something WHO DON’T WANT THE NERF somehow solves the problem of getting a bigger user base and retaining them.

Of course you don’t understand what I’m getting at because you’re just empty on the inside. A total npc just regurgitating what someone else said or what was marketed when the game over the years have deviated from any marketing trailers. I’m telling you what works and you’re just being like a parrot. You don’t know what you say but you just say it because you were taught it. The fact you don’t even understand what I’m getting at proves that much. So chirp on little bird because you’re just killing the game that you play.

Would that be the kind of ignorance where you throw insults because you don’t have an argument?

Taught what? By who?
Maybe i don’t understand it because its simply just verbal diarrhea and diatribe.

You say i’ve done some kind of ad hominem, but can’t even tell me what it was…

Take your own advice and go play call of duty. Get some of that frustration out.

Eve player answer to everything, this is why numbers are down.

I’m glad numbers are down - I’m getting ahead while all you whiners quit.

Oh progression, you should have said so

So leave the mining as is, but make the ore from drones go to the main hold, not the ore hold.

No more AFK.

@ISD Can you please lock this? It’s just off the rails circle of accusations.

Believe your echo chamber.

Nah, they just need to cut a certain poster out.

Why do you care?

Realistically, punishing miners for skilling into an orca and saving the isk to buy one is a bad choice.
What is the point in trying to get better if you keep being punched down? That is what’s been happening to miners since all these changes started.
When I first started, eve was in a good place. Bittervets were easily ignored when they whined about skill injectors or using bigger ships before you’d filled out every possible skill that could have an effect, regardless of actual fit.
When you (ccp) keeps pulling the rug out from under non-combat pilots, miners, you erase the joy of even logging in.
The launcher shows fewer and fewer people logging in, and those that do include people that came back specifically for the war. Once the war is over, numbers will drop even more. (Test seems to think it’ll be over within a month).
What is left after that?
A very slow arms race, where the bigger groups will take in more ore than any smaller Indy corp and start again on cap proliferation.
These changes won’t hurt the die-hards, but it’s killing the game for casuals.

I think this is one of the reasons you do not see more miners in low sec. Today on a Hulk or Mac, you can’t even add T2 Med Shield extender. They made it so they are paper thin, absolutely no defense. Would be nice to see a progression in the mining ships for HS. Low and Null/Sov.

But I’m with you, nerfs cause players to leave  I’m hoping EVE lives on.

To be fair, the hulk is for mining fleets. Solo, it’s still higher defense than a venture and can mine much faster. I never suggest using one outside of fleet ops.

Agree. I guess the solo T2 is skiff.

This is often repeated Command Ship canard is uttered by people backed into an intellectual cul-de-sac.

According to CCP in 2016, Orcas with mining drones was designated as a “pillar” of mining game play. Not my word, CCP’s. Go look it up. I’ve already quoted it. I don’t run a search service for the uniformed.

All you Orca bashers look here and weep. Your “supposed to be a Command Ship” fallback canard is a useless abstraction. It has no weight. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Just surrender already.

Orca + Drones = Pillar

Questions? OK good, let’s move on…

“A well organized mining fleet will have scouts, logistics and combat ships for protection”

This is so far out there wrong, there is not enough space on this thread. We get all kinds trying to get us to shoot first. You cannot defend miners with force of arms. You have lost touch with the game play. Logistics??? For what, feeding CONCORD doughnuts? We don’t play the same game.
