If it isn’t already, then it should be.
Even if it is, Jita also sometimes experiences tidi (usually only for one weekend though)
No, go away.
You need to take a timeout since you rant like a 12 year old.
The issue is with TiDi in Perimeter is that effects thousands of players that have no involvement with the fight over the Keepstar. When you have TiDi in Null Sec, it is in controlled space and involves the two forces fighting and virtually has no effect anywhere else.
High Sec is free space, in which you are allowed to have your little battle, but it effects many times more players when TiDi becomes an issue. The Keepstar is the catalyst for these fights and CCP needs to do a better job controlling TiDi so many other players are not bogged down with 10% TiDi.
I will maintain that a Keepstar with 50% more hp and many more defenses than a Soyito it is too powerful for high sec and should be banned.
If that were true then thousands would be here screaming. Instead its just you.
To be honest, the majority of players effected I doubt has ever visited the forums. I am on several public chat channels and am simply stating what has happened the past 3 weekends from the perspective of other players in the game. A lot of players do not know what TiDi is and most get sucked into the vortex (ie Perimeter and surrounding systems) without even knowing what is happening. A lot say this is “BS” and log off.
Are you suggesting 10% TiDi is good game play?
10% of something is better than 0% of nothing. If you was around before tidi you would be greatfull to be able to do anything. So yes. I am saying 10% is better than 0%.
nonsense, EVE’s massive battles don’t have a place where they belong, they happen where there is conflict, now considering conflict drives this game and that keepstar is a conflict driver then no, many times over the years i’ve had to deal with TIDI it’s not ideal that#s for sure, nobody enjoys TIDI but it is a lot better than how it used to be, server crash, lose shite and yea, not good.
Have you actually read the initial post after you wrote it??
It’s time to ban whiners, who constantly want stuff that’s fun for others nerfed or removed, from the game!
Jita is on its own node due to the numbers that “live” there.
By your logic because a large fleet fight can happen anywhere you sound like you want every system on its own node, as a large fleet fight can happen anywhere, and when it did youd just complain about tidi there too demanding the new system goes on its own node
So you failed to down the Keepstar and came here to get CCP to fix it for you?
Call the WAAAAmbulance!!
Are you suggesting that the alternative of crashing the game completely, and not letting anyone play at all, is even better gameplay than Tidi?
Because thats what youll get if you didnt have Tidi.
None of this has to do with a keepstar though. They might as well be fighting over an Astrahus, and we would still get massive Tidi.
So why are you so concerned and concentrated on keepstars in hisec?
Agreed, should have a massive debuff… Or allow carriers/dreads in hi-sec, just no cynos… require gate travel only. It’s time. Spice this $#!T up.
Concord would all but assure that capitals could travel safely through HS. With their SMBs and fleet hangars chalk full of now perfectly safe goods. The amount of DPS you’d need to burn down a max-tanked Titan before Concord nuked them is utterly insane.
And if you made it so they could reasonably get killed with some kind of debuff (how would you even explain that?), you’d basically never see caps in HS without massive escort fleets. Large gruops that can escort large cap fleets don’t need that kind of buff.
BECAUSE KEEPSTARS!
They don’t get that TiDi is caused by players. They don’t want to think about the possibility that “hey, TiDi means there’s a lot of people here. Maybe Eve isn’t dying!”.
IMO, all structures should have their EHP and both min/max damage caps roughly 20x higher than they are (forts in <0.5 and keeps in <0 with that change). Basically make dreads an important asset in killing real structures, so that they become something you need to defend rather than just whelp. I mean, sure the nullblocs can afford to whelp them, but every stockpile will run out eventually.
How about adding a TiDi setting to the in-game map so a player can call up his routes or destinations first and, just like checking pilots in system or ships destroyed, he can plan effectively?
It’s not a fix. It’s a band-aid.
Learn the difference, apologist.
Perhaps you should stop making assumptions.
I’m not complaining about tidi. Yes, large fleet fights can occur anywhere, I’ve been in some of the smaller ones.
All I suggested that, after considering recent events in Perimeter, that if not on it’s own node, it probably needed to be.
BTW tidi is coming to Jita sometime soon.
We dont need anything big to happen in Jita for tidi, it happens on its own some times. More so during burn jita.
I have been in jita under tidi and nothing was going on like a war or anything, yet despite jita on its own node there was tidi.
No its a fix, there is no solution to the problem caused by player numbers, computers don’t magically get more and more powerful just because you wish really really hard, and even if you doubled the performance of each node using black magic then people would just bring more players and the cycle continues, i mean you can deny the facts all you like but you either have no understanding of how computers work or you’re trolling, which is it
