Time To Sort Out Ship Skins

But nobody cares.
when you want it is utterly irrelevant to wether the item is available or not.

No, it means they are not available to you right now.
I’m pretty confident a BO with enough zeroes could decide someone to help you acquire what your heart desires.

You don’t. It’s okay because I never claimed you should care about my inventory. I claim, since I have one the game should not pretend they are unavailable.

No, you press the “buy” to be redirected to the market and possibly buy one directly or place a BO.
There is no reason for the game to prevent someone who wants to place a BO from doing so.

“Ad hominem” would be saying something like, “Your argument is incorrect because you’re a big dumb baby.”

I’m simply asserting that you are a big dumb baby. It’s not an ad hominem, it’s just an insult, and an opportunity for you to misuse the only latin phrase you think you know.

To be fair, insults are a way to discredit the argument because of the person. But they are called ad personam and not ad hominem

In your example, it’s still an ad personam. Him being a baby does not make his argument less relevant.
Insults under the pretense of argument are still plain insults.

Ad hominem try to attack the ability of the person to make argument on the topic. For example, “you say that because you want free skins” would be an ad hominem.

Actually no. Ad hominem is still ad hominem even if it is true. You need more Latin lessons.

Nobody said the opposite.
Please learn english and latin , even though they are difficult languages.

The differentiating feature here isn’t that it’s true (but thanks for saying :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:), but rather that it’s not being present as an argument or counterpoint, and is just a separate assertion of fact.

I looked them up on the market and they were not available. However I did see ’ Level V How To Argue Absurd Sematics’ when I scanned a ship owned by you.

Which is utterly unrelated to the skins being available or not.

You can repeat it thousands time, it will still remain stupid.

Er…right now is when I want them. That is why I hit ‘BUY’. As stated in the OP you clearly never read. Do you practice wrecking threads with 500 posts of ludicrous and irrelevant semantics…or does it just come naturally ? Oh…wait…its the Eve forums…question answered.

This thread is a perfect example why using volunteer moderators is unacceptable. A paid moderator would be here to moderate the thing.

Personally I think the point being made was perfectly well made in the OP…and the moderator should deal with people trolling endless sematicisms that don’t actually answer the issue raised. I can see why so many don’t even bother posting…when threads devolve to absurd ’ your definition’ trolling.

Which is utterly unrelated to the skins being available or not.
As already stated, which shows you clearly never read.

You keep pretending things that are utterly unrelated to the reality.
Wanting reality to adapt to your beliefs is an illness, it’s called delusion. Go check a professional, I believe you need help.

Yet I agree with you that CCP should rename “buy” to “market” or “NES” since that is what the button does.

Well…thank you, but when I need advice from someone who hasn’t had a killboard record in getting on 5 years…I’ll ask you.

This thread really went off track lol.

Can we all agree that CCP’s way of working with skins is a bit strange compared to other games?

That’s a perfect example of ad hominem.

What are your thoughts on how CCP handles skins?

You think we should have some sort of workshop for free community labor to create skins?

Why do you think CCP doesn’t take player created skins?

What’s with their skin rotation to make some skins “rare?” Don’t know why we need that tbh. I think we should have all skins on a rotation like Warframe and people pay $$$ for those.

Like using KB stats as an indication of market knowledge.

You should see someone about that obsessive need to have the last word. You consistently derail your own threads.

Mr Epeen :sunglasses:

You’re not exactly re-railing it.

What I think is not important, and not the topic. The topic is about the OP complaining about things that he pretends don’t exist while they do, just because he can’t afford them.

The only thing I agree could be changed is that the preview should have buttons with “NES”/“market” instead of “buy”. Though I understand that it’s named “buy” because it only shows for skins you don’t already have activated, so those you can buy (directly or not is not relevant).

Other than that it’s pure delusions. Nowhere does the skin list pretend the skins are available on the market, and the OP did not provide a screnshot presenting his issue. What the OP seems to complain about is that the list of the skins shows skins even when there is no order on the local market of the region he is in, which is a proof that he can’t even read : this window LISTS SKINS, it’s not a market.

I should be able to make my ship any colour I want. Without having to pay some rip off merchant 2bn for a Retribution skin. The real issue to me is not whether palyers should be ‘able’ to have purple ships with green and pink spots…but whether they should be able to sell those.
