I cant log onto this web site more than this one time in about a week.;
I have only been able to log on one of my accounts as of now and that was so lagged i had to log out and even that was really hard to have happen. i had to end task that and other attempts to log in. I have not been about to play or log in for about a week or so. that’s 3 accounts, i hope there are going to be free SP = the amount of time i was not able to play. i went ftp on one of them and needed to change the clone implants because the ones i had in wont let FTP give me skill points., this was the first time i was able to log into this web site. i hope it captures this reply.
Why on Earth would multi-boxing be akin to cheating.
I control each account separately.
Generally they’re doing different things unless I’m mining.
How is it different from having six people doing six different things on six different ships?
There’s so much idle time in almost all Eve activities that having more than one account to play simultaneously means I can stay busy with it.
I had to pull my market. 80% revenue loss starting with the first problems back on the 12th.
Near 100% revenue loss beginning about two weeks ago.
Just no way I can keep a market up and the associated services if my customers can’t log in to mine (and burn supplies and get their ships nicely ganked and need replacements) or use my station services or sell things at my market.
That has absolutely nothing to do with how many accounts I own or how many I run at a single time. Nothing.
Communication was there all the time, there were constant status updates via Twitter all the time.

Had a problem even getting to the forums today, and since right after dt before work, I could not even get the login screen to load up till just now. I know that ccp is hard at work and all of that, but up till today I was at least able to get in for a little bit so something changed after downtime I am thinking?
anyway this is what day 8 now? I did unsub 3 accounts, but I will be back as soon as this is cleared up. Not sour grapes or bitching, I know that ccp will sort this out and compensate all players, but why pay for something I cant access, ill be back ccp soon as you get it sorted!
also, thank you for putting information up, I think that will go nicely to help the community and quiet the natives somewhat. I say once a day updates is good enough, sort of like the news, once a day is enough to know whats up.

error. You click OK to remove that box you can then click “Connect” at the bottom of the screen. For me this does permit my access into the game itself. But it isnt a fix against the chat issue. That ones just persistent and there to make things… interesting
It works for some and not for others. It worked fore for a day. Now it doesn’t.
Those “folks” are stupid and deserve to lose said ships if that is the case.

Pretty sure this line of your waffle is as much nonsense as your IT ramble was. I mean, the 8-member corp you have been in for the last 18 days - after leaving the 5 char corp you also started and is also in your 3-corp alliance of a total of 13 chars - has no way to maintain the 60+ stations you clain the fuel for, let alone could afford in the first place.

It’s the chat issue they worry about- many of the grumblers here haven’t actually ever left high sec. If they lived in WH space, they’d be used to it and know dscan is their friend…

Your very correct. Multiboxing is not cheating. You pay for more than one so why not. Ignore the haters. Perhaps they should let those who want to invest time and resources into more than one account at a time do so. Everyone gets a trophy and everyone whines about not fair. Tell them to go and PLEX it or heaven forbid actually spend some of THEIR money on it. The only cheat is to use some sort of script, and every now and then CCP squashes that. Remember the carrier bot ratters that got pulled into high sec so the locals could gank them? I do.

If chat is broken it is worse than blackout because you don’t even have your Intel channels.
They all use scripts…it’s inevitable.
I have multiple accounts, but each controlled by me separately…he even admitted they do the ‘same thing’ when mining.
Awesome! One hell of an education just monitoring these forum threads, learned a lot whilst unable to actually play the game and hey, maybe I made a few rather idiotic posts myself but I got excuses. But the EVE lords just smiled upon me and mine and allowed connections for all of everything. So y’all have fun, I got to run.
update from me- East Coast TZ been posting here now. Saw the different behavior on client-reporting accurate CCU and server status and giving handshake error…quit client and launcher and started back up again- went right into game. Still in station, but market and character page are very responsive- 13 people in local where I am. Loaded up more skills into the queue but not undocking- just going to leave client up for a while.

Certainly works for me, however I still get booted off after about 10 minutes, or whenever I try to do too much, have too many open screens on my window.
i play in highsec, pretty much cause i have limited game time. If i had all the time in the world and could play during peak periods i’d have loved to try the big null battles. I love big space battles.
Sadly its not possible so i do anomalies and expeditions and more recently scanned combat sites. I’m starting to embrace dscan alot more now since I’ve started doing those. Got to make sure no one’s trying to get in on my sites you know? lol I’ve also noticed it reveals soem interesting naming cconventions in the gila swarms… “Gila 001” “Gila 002” “Gila 003” that sort of thing lol

Imo CCP SHOULD make roll back one week. And gives nothing nor game time nor skill points. To prevent DDosing in future (most cases of ddosing mmo is free rewards) also for me chat is still not working unable to connect (europe)
