If you guys want a temporary chat fix - edit your hosts file and add the following line:

Same boat i figured they are well aware that a vast majority of players are having issues with chat, inability to connect and random disconnects so i did not want to add to that list.
If CCP want us to though I will submit a report every time something happens (then again take yesterday id be spending more time writing tickets than playing as chat was up and down like a yo-yo yesterday, me and my buddy I was playing with showing 2 different sets of people in local.
For now im content to sit and run the low end stuff.
As for EC? I say scrap em or make em uber hard with guaranteed warp ins.

Why is in-game chat messed up? What changes have you made to restore chat?
If all problems are related to the DDoS from last week, lag and connection issues should also have been addressed by now and changes to help restore functionality should have been made at the same time.
Give us transparency. Your inability to communicate does far more harm to the player base than the DDoS attack itself
I am sick of this. I have a carrier sitting in a station with dust on it from all this crap going on. We all demand compensation for this crap
Did you actually read the Devâs post ?? The problem is a continuous DDOS attack from some unknown third party, and absolutely sod-all to do with Bookmarks or any other recent enhancements.
I think a point of that is, maybe instead of doing what is seen as quality of life or fixing something that isnât broken, perhaps more time could have been spent looking in to having a response against something this wide spread and persistent instead of trying to figure it out after it starts.
Of course, Hindsight doesnât really help, either.

A) They are under a persistent DDOS attack
B) Theyâve engaged with Amazon AWS and implemented AWS Shield to try and mitigate against the DDOS (my own findings).
DDOS attacks can be VERY difficult to mitigate. You essentially need to have a network pipe fat enough to handle the excess traffic + the usual traffic. Their servers probably also canât handle the additional connections and are being overloaded. I really feel sorry for them.
