Tranquility Connectivity Issues Megathread

chat broken and reconected after 5 min, massive lags and dc sometimes 15:00 eve time East Europe

So 1 day of good stable connection after 12 days of unable to log in and then today on Friday I have disconnects and chat and lag problems. This is very unacceptable… I am not able do anything yet paying for the game. South East Coast US

The game is a mess again.

[15:12:36] EVE System > Connection to chat server lost

General latency in the game client now makes it fairly impossible to do anything.

Congratulations on the new skins, very good job!

Then you should stop paying until they show they are actually able to keep their game working.

The only way to send a message is for a massive wave of unsubscribers in response.

Had a few very good days, without the intermediate ā€œconnectā€ screen and hardly any lost chat server connections.
Now the connection troubles started again, chat channels seem okay for now.

Just had a complete knock out on chat again. And it seems to be region independant. Alliance members report 1 toon with and 1 toon without chat.

After a few minutes it comes back, 30 minutes later, rinse and repeat

Also experience rubber banding when chat collapses

Location, EU, Netherlands.
Alliance members with lost chat both EU and US based.

I am not joining the bitter people here and calling for unsubscriptions. Be a negative nancy all you want, i prefer to have some patience.

Too bad I bought a year’s subscription for three accounts.

Do you think I can still send a message? :stuck_out_tongue:

Sure, you are a paying customer, not a product.

That would play directly into the hands of the DDoS’ers. CCP needs as much protection for conducting their business as we do to play their product. We’re all in this together.

I pay for this Shi*? CCP fix that…

We aren’t ā€œall in this togetherā€ we pay them to provide a service and their employees are obviously not competent enough at their jobs to keep that service working. There are plenty of other games to play.

They need our money a lot more than we need their game, and if people are willing to keep logging in to a game that has been limping along in a broken state for going on two weeks now and act as if that is acceptable, they have no incentive to actually fix what is broken.

Well my connection has been cutting in and out since this all began, today I can not even get a server number count and stuck at login. I know this is not CCPs fault would not ask for a refund but instead perhaps you could help offset everyone discontent by offering more Daily SP, or or some kind of in game items as a gesture for those who stick with it.

ā€œIt’s been six [Editor: ā€œahem… twelveā€] days, and we’re all still waiting. Waiting for someone to come. But what if they don’t? We have to stop waiting. We need to start figuring things out… We can’t do this. Every man for himself is not going to work. It’s time to start organizing… Last week most of us were strangers. But we’re all here now. And God knows how long we’re going to be here. But if we can’t live together, we’re gonna die alone.ā€

After almost two weeks , it is absolutely CCP’s fault that the game still doesn’t work.

Nope… I aint paid a cent for the VPN I’m using.

Of course they have an incentive, their livelihoods depend on Eve Online functioning properly. I’m not advocating that all of us players should be loyal until the game disappears, but if you doubt for one moment that everyone at ccp is concerned about these attacks and do their utmost, not to mention spend tons of extra money to ward off attacks, then there’s nothing more to say, is there.
