Today’s status report:
- Issues with the connectivity continue to affect some players, and while we see a positive trend the matter still causes a problem for some players.
- Reports about display issues and lost connection to the in-game chat channels are being investigated.
- All items remain to be on top of our priority list and teams continue working on improvements around the clock.
ever since they sold this game to the f-ing koreans its been down hill ever since, i give it till the end of the weekend to get fixed other wise they will lose my 6 payed accounts.

Just lost all channels except corp and local. Had to abandon fleet and others in fleet had the same problem.
You will lose me as a customer if the chat changes from March 2018 are not rolled back as promised.
If the past two weeks are representative of them doing their utmost them some of these people need to find new careers.

Interesting. And how does a packer filter deal with a DDOS which uses more bandwidth than you have provisioned?
How does it deal with, say, traffic happening on the ports you actually need to work?

Yesterday was all okay. Today - problems with logging in - need to use the ‘click okay and then connect on the next screen’ trick.

That wouldn’t be smart at all, AWS has by far better infrastructure to deal with a large scale DDoS, moving them off AWS back under CCP, which is currently under a sustained DDoS would be absolutely stupid from an IT/Infrastructure perspective. That would just move the chat function back to whats already under attack, and would likely take that down as well.
The problem here is with AWS communicating with CCP’s servers, which makes total sense under a DDoS
Maybe instead of blaming them, blame whoever is running the DDoS campaign.
I was getting that on 1 of 3 accounts EVERY time I launched from Fri to Sat to Sun to Mon… but it stopped around Tue, I think… been free of that since then… fingers crossed I’m not going to be encountering it again today.
To be fair - which other MMO has suffered like this that you play? I play others, never experienced this. And as I’ve pointed out before: banks, stock exchanges, financial services, SaaS etc - are all under DDoS & Cyber threats every day. Many of them much higher profile targets than EveOnline. Do you see them failing for 2 weeks?
yeah I am, my last 4 accounts go out on the 13th and 14th of this month, so won’t be resubbing.
Game is playable but chats are ■■■■■■■ mess all the time show wrong info.

All the other updates posted thus far have been essentially nothing but “There’s still a problem, we’re working on it” which is 0.01% better than when you said absolutely nothing…
