You / we might wish that it was as simple as “whatever sells” - but CCP Iceland art directors historically favor grimdark for spaceships on TQ. It was a revolutionary step for TQ, when the SoE ships came out with white as their primary color. TQ art direction takes one careful step at a time.

Not really surprising. Chinese market is widely different to Western markets, chinese persons are more likely to spend higher amounts of money on things which are percieved to be symbols of status. Type59G is a perfect example. I am however slightly dissapointed at the restriction of artwork designated for one specific server. Surely by having a resource available in a game, it makes no financial sense to relegate it to one server out of several. However, it’s not for me to second guess the developers.
And we extremely like lottery drawing, many players in Serenity had spent dozens of “648(¥,about 100$) pack” drawing some “rare characters” in other mobile games rather than buying PLEX in EVE, we used to buy ISK illegally from Taobao but without being banned by Tiancity (They had failed in the lawsuit by Bots users 
and failed to stop the RMT Trend after that 
), I wish that this time CCP can stop RMT in Serenity to make the environment better for recruits

I wouldn’t worry that much, tho. Just avoid singularity like the plague from now on. After all, it will apparently be a place where western players can test out features for the eastern servers… which the eastern players will not be able to access (at least on the same shard/server with us)… so what’s the point of logging in?
Just FYI I’ve been looking at the database and hoboleaks.space for some time and I had a rough idea on what they are doing.
Some stuffs can be seen on Singularity, for example some censored icons. Some other stuffs are developed independently on their side and aren’t seen on database on this side. Maybe there was some issue with TianCity so CCP hesitate to mirror such contents into TQ/Sisi. Annoucing that Singularity will begin to host content destined for either, or both servers will open opportunity for people to study into it, though I am not certain if anybody cares that much about Serenity.
So CCP had to host it under a thrid party for the entirety of Tiancity’s era? Did they intend to do so at that time?
I think this is not clear enough: Is that only censorships on wordings, icons, corpse models or something more? If it is something executable, do you mean it could also be coded in TQ clients as well but just not “activated”?
SKIN as a feature was introduced in 2015 and before that it was implemented as a variant of a ship.
With the announcement of Serenity being brought back up for the Asian market there is one interesting line to ponder upon in there.
As many already expected it is happening extra ways to milk players will hit Serenity first.
Ofcourse these features will be seeded to Singularity so we may have the bait dangling in front of us for testing and feedback aye

Yes yet this is the exact same process that Black Desert Online went through first p2w features went to Asian market then western players got it too despite being told it wouldn’t happen

Whatever CCP is forced into accepting for Serenity be it full free to play with plex bought advantages or more diverse packages like straight out buying sp and ships/assets with real money if Pearl Abyss sees it working it’ll be pushed into our game too.
Depends what “monetization” mean. PLEX and SP extractors are monetization.
