So…even though CCP has gone to the trouble of making separate test servers for Serenity…items “destined only for Serenity” will still be tested on SiSi…where Serenity players can’t even log onto…

CCP and Pearl Abyss are now one and the same company, perhaps not in a strictly legalistic sense, but in real world actuality. Pearl Abyss is the dominant partner now in this new joint venture. Is this good or bad for the Eve universe? I have my suspicions but only time will tell.

You’re asking about a foreign nations legal system… On a video game forum. Do you think this is a place where you can actually attain that information?
Of course. EVE Forums are a place where all kinds of information about all kinds of things are shared. Science, religion, history, law, more science, pyschology and pseudo-psychology, economy, political stuff of all kinds… why not in this case? Also, I was specifically asking Falcon because it was mentioned in the Dev Blog. CCP are directly involved in this and their information would be way more trustworthy than to read random pages on the internet. I don’t speak any of the chinese languages and so I can’t read the laws myself and that means I don’t have another trustworthy point of information. (judicial language is already often very precise and more complicated than the usual person who speaks a language can grasp - so even if I knew some mandarin or whatever, I probably couldn’t understand what the law means).
Now that I answered your question, answer me one too.
Can you tell me why you think my question seemed loaded to you? What did you mean by it?
THen why put things on Singularity? If Serenity has its own test server what is the use of also using Singularity? Are these Chinese law also going to be deployed on Tranquility?

Don’t know, I’ve never heard of a test server in Serenity, it’s been two years since I came to Tranqulity for the Test server here 
EVE is a single code & content base. Some of that code & content is flagged/tagged for Serenity only or for Tranquility only. The servers also have different settings and there are extra services in the Serenity Ecosystem that are not present in Tranquility’s Ecosystem. And vice versa, for example then EVE Voice was never available on Serenity and Project Discovery will not be available on Serenity.
Items destined for Serenity will not be tested on SiSi, since SiSi is configured like Tranquility and those items are therefore not visible there. But the code & content will still be present, inactive, in the SiSi environment and therefore if anyone inspects the client code & content the items will be found there.
The Serenity test servers will be configured like Serenity and therefore those special items and features will be visible there, and will be tested there.

Is that really what Chinese law requires? And in the case it is, will CCP really put spyware in TQ clients as well? At the very least, this seems inconsistent and it also sounds a bit, as if Western governments weren’t already doing the exact same and every large provider of anything tech-related is in on it. I guess it’s all too easy to blame far away countries for assumed misdoings, but stay quite when it happens to you at home.
Also, putting backdoors into TQ launchers will probably be found out by players and either published which leads to the worst possible PR or silently abused, which leads to even more sh*t hitting the fan further down the road.
Ah, you really have no clue, do you? Did you ever ask yourself why the newspapers you’re reading tell you so much about China when it comes to filtering and rarely ever mention anything at home - despite numerous organizations, including those whose browser you might be using, are pointing out exactly that? You’re being made to believe only the others are playing foul, so you can feel all rebellious and righteous, while being a quite and ignorant when it comes to the massive filtering and surveillance in your home country.
The same for information. The difference between China and western countries is simply that in the West we have much longer expertise in keeping important information locked away from the public. You critisize China because they are still doing it in a rather jolty way, while here in the West it’s incorporated in a multiplicity of rules, mechanisms and contracts.
Also, ever saw Chinese people? Yeah, they do travel. Your idea of them being locked out of information is rather funny and finally: what do you even know about the world?
Yes… every other country is all in cahoots with eachother to filter the exact same information except China
