Triglavian Ganking

PvP = player vs player

You are not being forced to PvP (unless you didn’t update you mining contract).

PvE = player vs environment

This is what the Trig Recons are, they aren’t being driven by players this is CCP’s “interactive AI” much like Drifters and a Diamond Mobs.

Just have to pay attention and use a tank…or its going to get expensive for you. Just like all of the areas not in High Sec.

Group PvE is a staple of every MMORPG, that’s why there is a MMO part in the name in the first place. Why would you call that “PvP group”? That makes no sense, it is pure PvE.

Their fits and tactics may be inspired by what players use. As I understand it the idea is that the ships actually better reflect the ships the players use with the same strengths and limitations. It still has absolutely nothing to do with PvP as it is pure PvE content.

NPCs to get a good PvP fight? Maybe you should lookup some basic definitions about what PvP and PvE means before you take part in such discussions.

So what is the actual problem here?

So 4% is WAY better than 2%?

WOW this is sweettalking at its best…

Well, i suppose you are just a victim of Injectors.
Being able to fly a ship doesn’t meant being able to use it efficiently.

There’s a few things happening here:

  1. These trig scouts deal serious damage.
  2. Experienced players will know how to avoid or engage them. Newer players not so much.
  3. Many hisec players want independent, solo type of game play.
  4. In the past, when hisec players tried to form groups (corporations), they were wardecced out of existence. This is changing, but many are still wary.

Maybe this will cause more hisec corporations to emerge, or loosely knit fleets to form up, but see point 3.

Edit: Point 5: many are saying these trig scouts aren’t even worth the effort to hunt down, and they respawn, so what’s the point?

Or just a lot of untanked barges and ventures blapped.

Interestingly, my alt was shooting an MTU yesterday with Trigalvians on grid. They locked but there was no incoming damage, then they disengaged and warped.

Do they target selectively? Were they distracted?

Funny how some here really think it is a “good” game in 2019 for which you have to study at an university first just to play it or survive it as a noob…

This is crap…

How far from you they where? So far I see they have range only around 25-30 km. Maybe they where distracted before was able to engage?

@Duro_Peripar Stop ranting. Everyone know you don’t like this change. No need to whine every 5 minutes. If you have something important to say, come back when emotions will go down.

Every 5 min?

I haven’t posted a single word for 18 hours…this is my second post…

Yesterday I warped to a planet at 100km, they were there, 60km away. They locked on and approached, but I warped out before they got into range lol.

Further update:

Untanked Salvage fit Algos left to clean up in a belt. Hadnt checked Dscan in a bit (old habits, empty local), 3 Recons jumped in. I fumbled the warp away, but they certainly didnt insta-lock, and was able to get away easy enough, though was redboxed as just before I entered warp. Ship align: 4.84

Don’t tell me, you broke all your fingers and it took you 18hrs to find someone you could dictate to?

They landed around 40km away iirc.

This is the guy that said 2% when he actually meant 4% but is now pointing out others semantic inaccuracies.

WHAT???

In which way is 4% better than 2% ?

This is madness, you just try to unvalue a post in which i was absolutely right about the loss of noobs due to the unforgiving crap CCP is playing here just because i wrote 2% and not 4%?

Those 2% are COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT…

WOW from 1000 noobs not 20 but 40 stay…simply WOW…

SOOOOOO much better for the game…

In that its a figure based on data, and not made up on the spot. As usual, the point eludes you.

Please do not reply to me.

No simply stop it…you just devalued yourself…

According to zkill, there have been no Recon Damavik kills in almost an hour. The last kill listed as of right now was a CODE pilot, lol.

Maybe CCP changed something, or zkill is doing maintenance/not updating right now.

Too bad we can’t reprogram the Recon Damavik to go after CODE instead of miners.

And?

So you have to learn the game to get better at it. Sounds like what you do in a computer game. So where is the problem?

And some may want group content since this is an MMO, so what?

They have wardec immunity since last December long before any of this started.

I’m just amazed how the highsec carebears can portray themselves as victims no matter whats happening.

As always, I hope CCP learns from this and finally realizes that investing into PvE isn’t worth it. The usual crybabies will continue crying because it wasn’t what they wanted anyway.

My conclusion for this thread: PvE carebears are once again crying because it is to much effort to adapt. Because what they actually want isn’t challenging PvE content but a ISK printing machine that needs zero attention and can run AFK while they watch netflix.

That would be great if I can bait them and drag them directly into some miner swarm. What do you think they will do next once they killed my noob ship?
