Uedama anti-gank

Lmao. Don’t be shy. It’s your AG alt, right?..:handshake::clap::clap:congrats…

CONCORD racing, you have to get the damage on before CONCORD can whore in on the kill with their massive damage output, I have a kill on Globby where I did over 80% of the damage before CONCORD whored on my kill.

That means Globby was shooting the entire time, up until CONCORD arrived, and you had exactly 0% impact on the gank.

The aim of our order must be to strive to banish a ganker in one strike , as your skills increase so you should aim to banish more and more before the arrival of concord .

But because you may not have the skill alone it doesn’t mean not to try, never stop trying

Two cats or Thrashers will take out one of there cats before concord arrive and maybe start on a 2nd one .

Try and learn and soon you will have the skills to one shot cat after cat

This is the way.

So when the gankers set up their Cats, (they got a buddy of mine in a Barge last night), are they set up like a glass hammer, i.e. all offense and no defense?

They sure popped my comrade fast. He said he only heard the lock-on beep twice and then KA-WHAM! They also podded him, so he lost all his implants, the poor b-tard. Apparently there were only two gankers; Concorde popped one of them and the other warped out.

I’d like to know more about their typical setup. In a Cat, obviously it’s going to be 7 or 8 hybrid weapons, but what else would you expect? Something in the low slots to increase damage and maybe something to increase lock-on speed in the mid slots?

Yes… all gank and no tank

Take a look on zkill , search your friends name and you will see what killed him, once they open fire and concord arrive they can’t warp off .

Oh and don’t forget the killright he now has , what’s your area and I’ll find someone for you to send it to , that’s if they are not -5.0 or lower , if you need any help understanding any of this mail me

What techniques do you use for anti-ganking in HS? I was once trying to save some ships but due to no skills and experience I failed. I had an idea about putting some cheap repairing ships to repair by-passing haulers to prevent gankers from finishing them. I dont know if it would work though. Didnt have a chance to test it since I am too poor to fund even a couple of decently-fitted healer ships.

Security status should be heavily affected by ganking in high sec and concord should spawn on them instantly if they’re below -2.0. Where ever they land, a concord npc should spawn that has 2 second lock time that never leaves the grid. So long as its there it’ll kos anyone red or below -2.0. If another attack happens while there be concord on grid, another concord npc should spawn and all spawns should last until down time with a max of 40 concord npcs on grid. Furthermore, gates should spawn you in a random x,y,z coordinate within 20 au of the system’s sun. Gate camping is trash game play and by making it where 99% of the time, defenders in a system have to scan fresh faces down warping in, you eliminate unfair gameplay, give people actually willing to leave high sec a breathing chance for success, and you stop making eve too easy for loser gankers whose entire pride point hinges on abusing mechanics to make a carrer out of killing people in high sec. Such people’s sec status should be hit for agressive action that they can’t even stay landed on a grid for more than 10 seconds because concord will spawn and stay at every grid these losers touch. This way criminal scum can’t hide in safe spots. It’s simple really, they land in a safe spot, “concord combat probes” show up on d-scan 1 au away from them and 10 seconds later concord is warping to them. Only time sec status should affect concord is when there hasn’t been ganks in said system. I see various corporations and alliances with huge killboards repeatedly in high sec exclusively. This is happening because high sec is too easy for gankers the way eve currently is. Plus, if you’re throwing away shitfit ruptures, thrashers, tornadoes, etc, and making billions in daily profits, you’re the reason why eve is dying. Why do you need all that profit anyway? Player trading?

concord are not the police, the faction police do just that though already.

concord come after you go criminal , in a 1.0 sec they come in 5 seconds and already do what you ask.

you get one concord spawn per ganker already how would adding more concord change anything ?

they already do that

so i am guessing you were bested by a ganker on a gate, who lost that fight and is the looser.

there is no abuse of mechanics just use of valid gameplay

we already cant sit still in space lol thats already in game, again concord are not the police they come after you gank the police come before.

huh criminals already cant sit in space lol

no it is happening because carebears keep overfilling their ships and going afk in space, not hard to avoid a gank but you would actually need to play the game to do it or use a courier contract.

firstly if we were making billiuons daily and it is easy to do then everyone would be doing it lol. we need the profit to buy new gank ships of course

I think Aaaarrgg already responded adequately to your response to me.

The way you explain your issue tells me there is a fundamental misunderstanding of how these mechanics work. Let me know what you are struggling with and we will explain.

Let me put it short, what maybe the misunderstanding. The current mechanics are by design to foster suicide ganking of a certain level as a playstyle, and at the same time enable smart prey to shine. CCP is pleased with that level, hence there is no need to make suicide ganking harder or easier. There is always a balance in EvE, your proposal would be one-sided nerf suicide ganking, and help the ignorant prey.

The CCP is the reason why EVE is Dying (Not yet officially dead) not the gankers.

I dunno… they look pretty useless as Pirate/Criminal hunters.

In RL, cops only arrives if someone is already dead. I don’t see any difference with Anti Gankers. :slightly_smiling_face:

This isn’t going far enough. How are you going to punish scumbag gankers with such weak measures? NO. Here’s what must be added on top of this to make any meaningful difference, and finally rid EVE of the griefer sociopath scourge that’s destroying it:

  1. A three-strike rule for gankers who get killed by CONCORD, with the third strike resulting in a pod-less execution that results in the permanent death of their character, with their assets repossessed and distributed among their victims.

  2. If a ganker scumbag circumvents the above measure by making additional characters, a stop-loss measure is activated in which for every kill they make, the payment method on their account is automatically charged with the PLEX equivalent of the amount that was destroyed in the gank(s), and deposited directly into the accounts of the gank victims. I’m also not opposed to the idea of contacting the ganker’s local law enforcement authorities to report cases of e-harassment/e-bullying if the ganking behavior is uncorrected by these measures, but that’s a separate discussion.

If you don’t support these measures, then you’re just another ganker supporter trying to throw a red herring in order to maintain the status quo, and we’re not falling for your weak trolling attempt.

Can I come for tea under your bridge tomorrow

Yea, except I was being serious. No body likes them. not even their own. That’s why they always break up and form splinter groups. If they’re so big and bad they can do their thing in low/null/wh space. Instead they’re a cancer ruining the game for anybody not inside a home station of a big alliance where they can come pick up their mtus hours later.

Only way is to fight them , eve in the main is a space combat game with a player run support system to supply ships and fittings .

I’m the main this all works best when played as a group , gankers are effective in a group, we are effective when fighting in a group. I see haulers working with team m8 webbing or scouting, that’s group work .
Every successful group in Eve is a strong unit, from Merc’s to mining groups

Team work and numbers are the key when you encounter other players.
So if your a solo player make an alt and try and join a group you never know you might like it be it low sec pirate , ganker , miner , Merc, there are groups for all
