Unable to login

Same here in UK Manchester same results as yourself.

I was playing before downtime this morning and after server came back up, I was unable to log in. Support tells me it’s because of ddos…and that’s BS. They expect me to believe that once downtime is done all of a sudden I can’t log in, but 26k other people can…but ddos. Up yours support guy… ALL DAY LONG I have been locked out.

Until today, I played with ZERO problems all week. No lag, nothing.

I have exactly the same situation as you. I submitted the support ticket and got the same answer as you about ddos attack and blah blah blah and all I can see is the same you can see and that is the number of players connected is continuously rising the whole afternoon since DT. It seems that majority of people don’t have any issues to connect to the server. More than 26000 players are now connected.

I’ve noticed just this: sh*t started to happen today after downtime when EVE Launcher automatically and “successfully” downloaded and installed a new version for itself (for the Launcher).

Logging in progress goes well until the step ‘Done processing bulk data.’
After that this message appears:
Connection Lost
“Network communication between your computer and the EVE Online server has been interrupted.
This may be caused by local internet connectivity issues, by a server reboot, or by a temporary network disruption between your location and the EVE Online data center.”

And so on over and over again for more than 50 times I tried to connect to the server during whole afternoon.

Btw. I’m from Croatia, EU if that means anything, I guess not.
So far I didn’t try to use a VPN, but maybe that could be the next logical step since some people above stated that thay are able to connect to the server using a VPN.

No login for me this morning - my internet and all other programs work just fine, only EVE is on strike …
after 2 hours wait still the same, sitting in Germany here.

Extended downtime didnt fix the issue at all - only change is that the error message now gets displayed in the launcher and the game doesnt even try starting …

Please fix this - or at least give some feedback about whats going on and what’s the perspective.

well … my launcher tells me that my account cant be verified and that i should check my internet connection (which isnt my internet connection cause … it worked yesteday before the update … + all other things work fine like youtube, twitter, fb and co.) … you guys have it good tho. as soon i go to the login page tells me the eve site ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT … i cant even login to the support to write a ticket. o_O

Same issue here. The launcher lets me login, but I cannot connect to Eve from the UK. However, when I use a vpn and connect via Canada I can connect no problem. Possible its the neustar security that is blocking.

I wish we could hear something “official” from CCP. Were all having the same problems. :frowning:
