Oh, that would explain why it appears Renly Ridley is just lashing out randomly.
I didnât catch where DMC would fit in, but thatâs just me The others I donât know well enough.
Heâs on record saying that non-consensual PvP needs to be removed from the game. There are a few other regulars who think that way too, but Iâm not going to make a detailed list (might be against forum rules).
DMC clarified that heâs not against non-consensual PvP in posts below.
That may be true. But heâs done more for the game than I have. Can you say the same?
FACTION STANDING REPAIR PLAN aka âThe Planâ - PvE Gameplay Center / Missions - EVE Online Forums
Just because someone does useful things, doesnât mean that theyâre precluded from doing bad things or holding damaging beliefs. Plenty of tyrants have built roads and hospitals for their countries.
Unfortunately very true.
Iâm for ganking myself, so I guess Iâm just as guilty?
But neither of us seem to practice it anymore. A guess on my part about him.
But how am I any better?
Trust me, I have my own agenda just like everyone else. I like you both. That being said does not mean I have to agree with all either of you say. I just respect the different points of view. How else could I learn?
Hate each other if you must. But donât let it get the better of either of you for the betterment of the game.
CCP needs all our help, whether we like each other or not.
Gawd, at least nether of you are Ridleyâs.
Nah, I straight-up asked you some time ago if your desire is to remove non-consensual PvP from the game, and your response was along the lines of âyes, so what of it?â I did a search, but canât find it, mainly because something like 95% of our interactions get deleted (like for example your reply above would be if a mod notices it).
Would you like to go on record saying that you do not want non-consensual PvP to be removed from the game? That would certainly clear some things up.
Hereâs the thing: I donât hate anyone. That doesnât mean I would call everyone a friend, but I definitely donât hate people.
CCP might be beyond help at this point.
Because you lack the sense to post on-topic in the appropriate effing threads.
Wake the hell up.
Regardless, who the hell believes you got anybody elseâs story straight? You directly accuse people of saying things they didnât even immediately AFTER they posted their opinion on the matter.
Such as?
Any more Ridleyâs in game and might just be trueâŚ
Because it only happened in your dreams.
Also just for the record, non-consensual PvP can happen anywhere in Eve. Whatâs funny is how you constantly keep trying to make that phrase pertain to just High Sec Suicide ganking which is completely different compared to attacking another ship in Low Sec, Null Sec or W-hole space.
Such as when I said in the middle of this thread that you take things personally you say:
Others in this thread have expressed disagreement and I gave them likes or courteous replies. Its all here. There is something seriously wrong with you. I donât claim to know what it is, I just wish you could find the right thread for it.
There is a big difference to me at least.
Yup. On the postive side though she reminded me to add that screed to my third post here on other pointsâŚits point g.
The zeitgeist of the game doesnât treat any sort of player conflict in lawless areas of space as ânon-consensual PvP.â Doing so would essentially mean that all PvP is ânon-consensualâ because no one goes out into space with the express goal of losing their ship (with a few very specific exceptions, like suicide-ganking, or going on a suicide roam). Do you think that parties to a fleet battle in null-sec would hit the âI consentâ button with regard to losing their capital ships, if they could have the option of opting out? People rarely volunteer their own destruction.
No, non-consensual PvP is generally a concept only where people have the assumption/illusion of guaranteed safety.
Wow. Now she says PVP is automatic lost ships. Holy deficiency Batman.
He/She/It is a liar and a troll, constantly posting insulting innuendos just to trigger a forum flame war.
I still have to agree with this. Just cause I donât do it anymore does not make me less guilty when I did.
