Version 19.11 - General Feedback

Have you, at all, ever heard of bookmarks? Warp to roids, mine roids, if new roids too far away then warp to BM. Rinse repeat

It’s really not difficult if you’re not excessively lazy. Or, you know, not afk…

Have you tried starting the first strip miner , then the second strip miner 30 seconds later , you will stagger your yield

Did they really go with “waste come first when you’re at the end of a rock” model? That was kind of dumb.

Have you heard of time off grid? More time off grid warping to a perch is lost production.

Have you ever heard of being effective?

The point is the barges were not balanced properly by CCP. This is just another half baked idea. That just sucks and screws miners again.

The waste come out first on every cycle, period. So short cycle your lasers the lost cycle of the ore. It sucks and is garbage mechanic.

They are, having to make choices and having to put in active effort is on purpose. They did that for a reason. Go be crap and afk somewhere else, it’s CCP telling you to stop being ■■■■.

I don’t afk mine and never have in the 4 years I have been a miner.

There is are no choices when it comes to fitting the barges after this patch. It is hull tanked and after burners. The barges and ALL ORE ships are supposed to be shield tanks but CCP does not know that. That is the problem! CCP doesn’t under the players, the ships or the game.

Just because you can get more ehp by fitting all bulkheads, and thus have no mlu, doesn’t mean they’re not shield tanks. That would be the same as saying that a Rattlesnake with all bulkheads has more ehp than one with DDA/BCS and “thus” it’s not a shield tank.

Your logic is dumb af.

Cheers,

it seems, something went wrong with the fuel calculation within the Orca

Got Indu Command Skill 5 and Indu Core Skill at 4, so it shoudl be
500 - 125 (25% from Orca Skill) -80 (form L4 Indu Core Skill) = 295

You really aren’t a polite person…
Ships should not all be fitted the same way and as Ive been playing this game from near the beginning when you could use all sorts of fits and ships for various different roles.
If you force everyone to have the same fit why bother having fit able ships just provide a non fit able ship, or is this the goal further simplification.
The Exhumers only have 30% EM resists so they are no way shield tanked without using mid slot fittings especially with blood rats. I have various fits that now don’t work by a long way on all of the exhumers and just because it fits one way doesn’t make it right for all cases.
And i also don’t mine AFK, you want to try it for 5, 6 hrs and see how little can now be made compared to other pursuits instead of moaning at people highlighting issues.

I’ve been toying with various exhumers fittings if you’d like some assistance with the newer paradigm, it’s been a process, but I think there’s enough room to allow leeway in fitting, just not as obviously as the previous designs largely enforced it with massive disparity in fitting room

Why should I be polite to someone who does nothing but rage, cry and yell and keeps saying things that clearly shows he has no clue on them, which in itself is not a problem, but then never listens to others and never assumes he might be wrong?

At some point patience grows thin with people like that.

Beyond that: all ship fits are compromises, they SHOULD be, and since most people are really bad at fitting and game mechanics that suddenly shows when stuff changes and they have to think for themselves.

In a short time some cookie cutter fits will emerge for everyone to copy, it will probably use memes to explain things, and everyone can again pretend they know wtf they’re doing.

There’s ‘not being polite,’ and then there’s ‘being a dick’, Aisha.

but if the ore got doubled, doesn’t that mean, we have 20% of the ore that we have before scarcity. if i remember right, while scarcity 90% of the ore got removed.

I believe in consequences to choices.

If someone behaves normally, like you’re doing, you get a normal reply even though we might disagree.

If someone has a history of nothing but crying, being wrong, very obviously is a lazy player who wants the game to cater to his laziness and lack of understand, so he’s effectively crying like a 5 year old who didn’t get his cookie. Then I’ll react in manner.

If he wanted a mature discourse he should have acted in a mature way.

It’s to reward the active players that scan the rocks and cut the last cycle short, and designed to be at the detriment of those not so attentive. If a player sacrifices tank or mobility for a survey scanner, this is a return on that additional risk they’re taking on.

Thank you for the offer, I’m well practiced in doing ship fittings, Ive spent many years teaching others in the past when we used external programs like EFT linked to the game.
I’ve lost count how many rigs have been destroyed along with re fits due to changes over the years.

The exhumers are fine if fitted for max mining or given cover in a fleet, its the fits to cover specific scenario’s that are now unavailable.

is it intended that venture with t1 scoops mines more gas than every exhumer and barge with t1 harvesters except the hulk?

can cycle time of gas harvesters be changed to 120s so they align with t1 scoops?

I’d disagree but understand where you’re coming from.

So the new crying is “my yield went up too much, I’m filling up too fast and having to warp off to unload more often and this is bad”???!

we fear change
