Why? The wardeccers are paying customers too. Some of them new and looking for something to do.
I donāt have disdain for industrial-minded characters or new players. I do have disdain for carebears who ask for the core of the game to be changed because we need to āthink of the new players!ā but really they just want to be able to āwinā at the game by begging CCP to remove their competition by developer fiat.
That said, I do think a social corp should be implemented so that players like the OP who are clearly not ready to compete can have a shared social space and name to wallow in until they get bored and quit the corp (or Eve entirely), or hopefully use to get better and more organized finally stepping up as a group to play the real game.

Everyone here is now being reminded that there are innocent new players in his corp, who will be better off to being told to join a different one, or even you, but at least leaving him. Do not mess with those who are in no way at fault, otherwise you would be no better than him.

By that time Star Citizen will no doubt support up to 8 players in the same mining belt and have mining frigates available for only $50 (in 2018 dollar value) so EVE could suffer from a real exodus of players.
