Many thanks @CCP_Dragon for that.

Many thanks @CCP_Dragon for that.
after running a few sites, i got pretty bored, glad ccp has made a event thats even more boring then mining lol.
then again i thought shadow of the serpentis event was a grind, this one has grind mixed with super boring lol
Do you even test what will come to TQ? There are juvenile bugs that should be catched when you build whole thing. Once again I’m feeling like beta tester to the feature already on TQ…
It looks like it is a matter of perception, but I find these event sites not just interesting but also exciting. For the first time we got NPCs that webify, warp disrupt, scram and neut at the same time, even in High Sec.
And I got a question, @CCP_Dragon - do these new Sleeper NPCs use the awesome AI that was implemented for the Blood Raider Shipyards?
That certain amount of time is what? 15 minutes? 1 hour?
That’s not true on the warp in message equaling a “live” site. I logged in last night around 5am, dicked around a bit and proceeded to give the event sites a second go. Warped to one of two in my system. Got the message from the quartermaster en route to site. Got the second message on the gate. Went to all 5 wrecks and found nothing. No spawns and no containers. Hung around a few minutes complaining in help then warped out when a red hopped in system and went to do something else. Didn’t bother on the second site. It will still generate the message on warp in. I can personally confirm that.
As you may recall up above I mentioned running some yesterday after downtime right when it started with a Corpmate and in one of the early replies itt someone said to hold onto a relic to complete subsequent Daily tasks. I remember that I had told him to do that if he wanted points and when he logged in before downtime today I asked him and he still had it from the few we did earlier yesterday and that those were dead ones that hadn’t despawned after he kept the relics. He flew out and dropped the relic in and it despawned shortly after.
Also why are you intergrating the good events into agency? Just throw out agency dude. I hope by tweeked rewards you don’t mean junk like I’ve been getting from the agency so far. 4 agency events so far and not a single worthwhile reward out of any of it except maybe the sukkevesta skin but I don’t fly a tengu.
something seems to have worked for the dead sites, they have gone. but no new ones seem to be spawning.
Is that just me? nothing in 24 systems over the last 3 hours.
Hate to say it but you are probably just being unlucky, there are a lot of people chasing these. I’ve managed to find a few, roughly one every 3 or 4 systems checked.
cool beans, good to know
Resolved Event Sleeper groups having incorrect brackets.
That was a pain too.
A bit buggy start but the fix was quick and the event site is cool, gonna be perfect for the incoming cold rainy days ^^
So apparently CCP has the janitor designing content now. ROFLMAO
Works certainly well in highsec, but as a solo site concept it is a bit too much for lower sec space IMO.
My proposal would be as a first iteration to have the battleships not pointing you and the HP cut in half. The other stuff pointing you can be killed reasonable fast if you don’t do mistakes. Put the good loot then in the BS, people should be pinned down by greed not primarily by mechanics.
That was more a response to his general “bugs are bad” complaint rather than specific to this topic.
Thank you for your answer CCP Dragon. If you would mind to answer me two very important questions about timers in the agency.
From my point of view they add no value for players, but they are irrtating and just stupid.
Generally I like the idea of “daily tasks” which can be completed any time between DT. This perfectly works in World of Tanks for example. In May or June 2016 CCP created awesome event with one simple task: Kill one pirate and get 10k free exp. It could be completed any time between DT. I mentioned it because it shows, that you can make an event like this.
What exactly timers mean for us, players. For example I log in every day on 8PM. Lets assume that I need 30 mins to do a daily task. Everything looks OK until my wife wants to go with me to a restaurant / cinema, or for example I play, but I have a stratop / corporation meeting and so on. So lets assume, that I’m not a basement dweller and I returned from a party at 1AM. In this situation I can decide to skip the daily task (to have access to it next day at 8PM) or do it and have the access to it next day on 11:30PM
I hope that I explained how your idea of timers works outside the basement dwellers world.
So the questions are:
Thanks CCP Dragon for your time reading this. I hope that you will explain here clearly, why do you think that timers make the agency better.
I’d be fine with the scrambler. Get rid of the neuts.
It makes it nigh impossible to run in a laser or hybrid ship. I shouldn’t need cap boosters for pve. And CCP shouldn’t design event sites that unfairly favor certain play styles. They should be accessible for everyone.
I would absolutely love more Live Events (in the old meaning of it) as well, it’s just a matter of them being worth it and involving enough people.
Something I suggested to CCP was working on a ‘side’ system, so that one could complete a site in X room or Y room and have that be a ‘decision’ marked in the game, so that after the event ends, one can tally up the score for both choices and have some progression in the lore directed by the players. It’s an idea I’m very fond of, as it really lets CCP show off some of the more complex conflicts in lore, like Thukker vs Angel Cartel
Out of interest, why not? Does changing your fit to meet the requirements of the PvE not make it more interesting? Or is it that you feel it unfairly punishes your choice of ships (i.e Hybrids and Lasers)?
PvE should be more engaging. There is no reason why NPCs should be so much worse that you can make an easy-mode fit and just pwn them. The difficulty of the warzone sites is one of its biggest draw. It’s no fun to just snooze at the helm.
That being said, I would agree with the person who suggested points on the smaller ships (and keeping neuts on the larger ones). Tackle is typically something for smaller ships in fleet ops, and it would make it a bit more manageable (unless we want to make PvE as risky as PvP, but then the rewards need to be sizeable or nobody will risk it).
Found few sites combat is good and refreshing difficulty is lacking(lack of NPC dps might be better wording here) but still amusing i would like to see harder rats in them with different site names so you absolutely need two or more players to grind thru em.
Other thing i would like to see are sites that last up to 1h with rats responding to players on grid and warp stuff in accordingly.
I like it, it is something fresh for high sec at least so good job on that.
Things i do not like is sites still being under bad mechanics and immersion killing spawning of rats out of thin air this kind of magic should remain in '90s to early '00s mmo era.
I made some room for ships capable doing this kinda sites to carry around with me so that means i can do mining fleets more often as well and some pvp shenanigans too, keep it up nice work…
