Part of why I put classic in quotes - ~2014 is around the point for me the changes and especially bait and nerf became too frequent to be enjoyable and areas of the game like wormhole space changed too much for my tastes personally.
I was disgusted with myself for being awarded the āDevoteeā title the other day. What kind of a no-lifer spends a year on this forum without missing a day?
Iām going to not log in for an entire day just to prove to myself I can do it ⦠soon ā¢.
Mr Epeen
Oh oh Ive got a new one.
People who say easily disprovable stuff and act all smug like its all āaahhh m8 I totally gotcha there, dint oi?ā
And Im like
āNo not reallyā
And that includes when I do it too btw.
This very sound like narcicist -codependent relationship
Gimmeh your pass codes and everything ! I will change it and i wont give baack to you earlier than 24 hour !
( yes i dont believe you can do that , i know you will crawl back with shaking hands and red ayes )
I have too much isk to care and no they dont XD
You are easily one of the best and most worthy posters here. But this is a concept usually thrown about by people with far less caliber than you. I urge you to rethink, and not let the repetitive chants of forum trolls poison your mind.
Experienced players, former or current, have a duty to warn others of the out-of-game corruption/abuse they dealt with and that others surely will as well. A DUTY I say!
Or would you prefer, that, for example, when someone defects from some corrupt regime in the world, they stop talking about it once they change their citizenship? Thatās nonsensical. Good information is good information. The truth remains the truth. Attacking the messenger is beneath you sir. I am grateful to all who attempt to warn us of possible corruption/ abuse, especially if they come with evidence. Shutting such people down only ensures that good loses and evil wins. Its why the abusers scream for quitters to shut up regularlyā¦its because the quitters have information that helps people protect themselves from the abusers.
Well, I can see your point and could even agree with it, however when I stop visiting a place or in this case, stop playing a game, I donāt continue to view their menu and post my viewpoints about them, especially if Iām no longer a customer and have been away for a considerable amount of time. The reason for that is no longer have access to inside info to post an accurate opinion.
Oh, I think the information that really counts is human relations and company culture. Those change at a glacial pace. Plus, history is always relevant. I recently read about the years old situation with The Mittani. That was eye-opening.
Hang around with me ⦠i dont play either but i can keep you updated if you want
Visibly even i dont play anymore i cant stop the information flood
I think you might have misunderstood me, Iām still subbed, I still log-in and play the game, just not near as much as I use to do.
I havenāt played world of warcraft, warships, tanks, war thunder or armored warfare in years so Iām not on those forums, during my absence at EVE I was not here.
Maybe I donāt understand forum activity on a game I donāt play anymore, but to each his own.
What disgusts me is I bought the āSemiotique Cyber Suitā pack yesterday from CCP for $19.99 and today I see itās on sale for $4.99 at Epic Games Store.
āDisgustā is perhaps exaggerated, but that anti-climactic ending of wwb2 ⦠pfff.
Ccp cant write stories that are compelling with interesting endings.
Thats not news though.
Typical CCP bait and switch tactics, why would you expect anything else from them at this point?
I disgust myself sometimes. I look in the mirror in the morning, and scream at the reflection i see.
The issue is theyāre charging full price for the product on their own website yet allow it to be sold for much less on other sites. It should be opposite.
Its a model a lot of companies these days have been doing. Its a pretty cynical attempt to maximise the number of sales because they believe that most players wont bother to shop around. I mean, why would they think to do that?
And yet there it is.
Games Workshop, Hasbro, Disney and many other bigger companies have been at it for years.
Well, I guess from now on whenever CCP advertises a new pack sale, Iāll make sure to do a google search for it.
