If your corp is full of low effort grind bears who don’t really have a clue on what they’re doing you can TRY to engage with them as if they are rational human beings with a brain, but that takes effort and it won’t work because those clone soldiers would have to use their own agency to interact and think for themselves. It’s like herding cats but way more painful.
They’d have to read what needs doing from some place like your forums or discord, which is just not going to happen because that would take effort, and then they’d have to engage braincells to figure out which part of that they could do, which is… an optimistic assumption because if they were capable of that they’d not (want to) be in that corp in the first place.
It’s far easier to treat them like the NPC they really are and give them “dailies” to do. “Get this, bring it here, click button and receive dopamine hit”.
Blackglass gives 20 Strength and -40 Coherence for Data Analyzers only and is usually used with the combined Data and Relic Analyzers, such as Zeugma, because it applies to the Relic portion as well in that case. The point of that implant is to one shot nodes, making Coherence irrelevant.
The new set apparently gives bonus Coherence for both Data and Relic Analyzers, and no Strength. They’re different use cases.
Well, you can use both the set and the Blackglass, with or without taking a 600mil Zeugma into a ghost or sleeper site. There isn’t really a hacking set in the game currently, except maybe the hacking adjacent Virtue set, and that’s debatable. Options are nice.
Ghost and sleeper sites don’t pod players, so not really. You don’t normally need either, both are just optional efficiency upgrades when hacking in safe-ish space, unless more difficult exploration content gets introduced. I’d prefer a clone over a module either way.
Did it? The only significant DPS change I am aware of from the last years was the T2 shortrange-ammo buff (+15% if I am not mistaken). Which is… a buff.
I’m interested to see how the new freelance mission systems shakes out. Because it feels like it was been built from the ground up purely to benefit scammers. I didn’t see where it does anything that buy orders don’t already do. Except for the little faction war missions they showed.
My estimation is that people will use these missions to either lure players into operating into the area they hunt in. Or they will use it to obfuscate the value of items for production missions.
I think it’s a really cool system all the same and that they could make it into a actual genuine replacement for traditional mission running. But I strongly doubt that’s what it’s going to be out of the gate.
The six (6) types of Freelance projects that are being released with Legion probably aren’t enough to get a good idea of any future potential (they’ve hinted there would be more types, but no additional details beyond that).
Considering it was designed, announced and touted as a (null-sec) recruiting tool and requires the rental of a station office - I think the large null-sec alliances will completely price anyone out of the market. Their reward? They can effectively outsource ADM and actively recruit at the same time.
I don’t know how high-sec, low-sec or wormhole corporations could even compete - since they gain absolutely nothing (zero) for any Freelance projects - except the chance to potentially recruit pilots. I mean, we’ll need to see if when it’s released as we’ve only been given the briefest glimpses from the FanFest blurbs.
