I have met with the former slaves that my family once held. They were liberated and sent to Republic aid with some Isks immediately after I received the full control of my family fortune, some of them remain good friends of mine.
Heitr, a Krusual friend of mine, invited me to meet his cousins utterly skeptical of my…“genuinity.”
He introduced me as I quote “sworn enemy of the Amarr empire,” and as series of jolly imbibement and feasting continued, I hope I am somewhat accepted by his cousins.
… I must admit I never thought I could be such a firebrand after some thorough inebriation.
Heitr seems to enjoy referring me as" My People Must Burn guy" after the dinner.

Treated myself to a nicer dinner (for once) and spent the evening watching a holovid. Then a friend called, and we had a casual chat before bedtime. I was left thinking about progressing our now shared hobby project.

I attended a cultural sensitivity course for staff at the University, which now qualifies me to be offended on behalf of other people.
Then I had a cheesecake that was the same diameter as my head.

Demolished a friend at a retro fighting game at Jita 4-4 arcades. Then he mopped the floor with me at the bowling alley afterwards. Fun times were had!

Had an argument at the University, about the ruleset to be used for a charity bathboat race to be held next month.
I took a swim for the first time in years.
It had been too long. I love to swim, so I am not quite sure why I have not done so for so long. But I found a pool that is quite nice. I think I will be visiting it quite often in the future.
I visited my best friend and we had tea.

I thought verdant meant green.
According to my Thesaurus, synonyms for verdant include green, leafy, grassy, grass-covered, lush, rich, flourishing, thriving & teeming.
I think we can safely ignore all the green, nature-y grassy ones, lovely. I mean, when did you last see a lawn grow on a ORE researcher?
I feel that all those words share the connotation of applying to plants.

Well, today I had a bottle or two of some very nice Intaki wine and relaxed in a private room on a nice station in orbit of the homeworld itself. Had some fun betting on merc combat matches. Was a pretty okay day.
I went on a really nice date with an ethic Gallente who defected to the State. It was interesting, to say the least.
