fair enough.
Chance to hit=0.5((Angular×40,000 / Tracking×Signature)^2+(max(0, Distance−Optimal)/Falloff)^2)
A bit of easy maths to work out while someone is kiting you
But seriously, apart from doing the maths, or maybe lots of experience, there is nothing that actually tells you that turret tracking of even 40 is not enough against a kiter doing just 820 m/s
I don’t even know that a stasis webifier will guarantee a hit.
Thanks I will!
Now back to the original question.
Can you please give me your reasons as to why I should [biomass], using your crude euphemism.
And 2) provide me with a kill mail that shows me involved in a gate camp taking out a freighter. Or anything else for that matter.
I’m quite curious and would like to have it satiated before I’m blocked.
Thank you!
Not sure if you mean in-game or the article but in the article angular
is the part that represents that. Though how much is enough to actually hit reliably is up to experience.
Maybe try factional warfare on an alt or something, just train into frigates and good to go. You could even make a new account and use a ref link for the 1 mil free SP to can kickstart it. (No need to be Omega for such.)
You tell me where it’s illegal. All PvPers seem to think that the ore belongs to them and that all miners are stealing it. That’s why i adopted the name “Smuggler”.
It was to mock people like you. Seems like it worked because you seem pretty triggered by it
There are no kill mails where you have destroyed a freighter because youre not good enough to pull it off.
There is no surprise there.
Changing the definition of a word, to suit your means and then expecting everyone else to
- instantly know what you mean, and
- expect them to agree with it is just narcissistic nonsense.
I reject your definition. You’re not a smuggler.
It seems that you are exactly what I portray you as. An edge-lord. A miner with no real skills beyond pointing a mining laser at a rock and watching netflix.
A soft target, easy to blow up and steal from.
Sure you tried to tangle me up with the nonsensical requirements of what it takes to mine, such as minimal market sales, moving it around. Skills that every so called career path requires in order to play the game, but at the end of the day you failed even at that.
It was a good go, but at the end, you tripped and fell over yourself.
Nice try. I’ll give you a B. At least you tried to run the race.
LOL! No one other than you is changing the definition of anything. You’re really triggered aren’t you? LOL!
- Oh I don’t expect you to instantly know anything!
- I don’t expect anyone to agree with me. I do what I want and laugh at people like you who get pissed because I’m not acting in a certain way! HAHA!
I don’t watch Netflix. I also don’t just sit at a belt all day with a full cargo hold like you think every miner does. You’ve admitted that you have no idea how to play this game- that you’re absolutely clueless despite being here for 5 years! LOL!!!
You don’t even know that you have to keep emptying your cargo hold when it fills up or that you have to transport that ore to sell it at a decent price! The most basic things about this game are things you are not smart enough to comprehend!
And you’re accusing me of having no skills! You’re too funny! Get good scrub.
New reports are flooding in;
Gankers shot at and destroyed unarmed mining barge out on an asteroid belt for no reason other than they were in the area where this just occurred.
The only Antigankers here are Concord!
@Glenduil Most gankers don’t know what mining entails, like having to empty cargo and transporting goods so they invent things like “AFK mining” and “elite PvPing” to feel better about destroying defenseless ships.
Why are they defenseless?
Don’t they have mid and low slots on them to buff up their defenses?
Seems kind of silly to me that you would opt not to put any kind of defenses on your mining rig knowing that once you undock, you could be attacked.
Yep! And my Exhumers have way more defenses than you could ever break. So do my T2 Hauler and XL Freighter. You like to think of yourself as a big bad, but at the end of the day, you’re just not a threat to my ships.
If I can’t manage something as simple as getting a kill on a gate camp, then it would logically follow that I would fail at something as equally low brain as blowing up an exhumer.
So in this case, I absolutely don’t see myself as, “the big bad.”
The average mining barge or hauler, even the poorly fitted ones, has more EHP than most of my combat ships. They are hardly ‘defenceless’.
.
EHP is not defense, it is protection.
The ability to shoot back is defense.
Gankers = slime
Since we’re talking about ganking here, any act or modification which ‘protects’ the targeted vessel for up to 19 seconds in Highsec - will succeed in causing the gank to fail.
Miners use combat drones to ‘shoot back at’ NPC attackers and are thus not entirely defenceless.
Hi there!
@Sasha_Nemtsov
I don’t think so.
