No. LinkedIn has become stale with Facebook and Twitter, and with many better ways to get into contact with employers. It’s not what it used to be. It’s become a last resort these days. It’s like one step away from flipping burgers when one has to use LinkedIn to find a job.
Do you understand he was talking in jest?
I don’t have to do that. Most people I reply to manage to do that all by themselves. No pointing out necessary.
So why do you troll then?
You need a sense of humor to be able to understand it. Something he clearly lacks.
Who do you mean by “he”?
Why wouldn’t I have a sense of humor? Clearly you’re the one lacking, not me.
Are you for real? CCP Falcon. Who else where you talking about?
We have several people talking here. So no, I don’t know who you mean by “he”.
To your question, yes, I do know. I gave him a Like for it, too. But do you know there are two kinds of people when it comes to jobs? There are those who love their job and those who don’t. And when people talk about something you love then what is your reaction to it? Well, if the talk makes you feel sad and you think you’d miss your job then you belong to those who love it. And when you joke about it or you just feel happy over the thought of it then you belong to those who hate it. If people are aware of their feelings is a different matter, but it’s still out in the open for others to see.
If you see CCP Falcon updating his linkedin, know there is something going on.
Let’s hope not. Let’s hope for the best instead.
Would you believe me I had to dig through the old archived forums just 2-3 weeks ago for a piece of damn info regarding a game mechanic dating back to 2006 or so.
I can’t discuss any more obscure mechanics of the game here because there’s no one worth discussing them with left
What was it about?
Asteroid npc behaviour and special asteroid npc spawns.
I’M currently having a little pet experiment with belt ratting.
What I found this is CCP hasn’t changed that piece of coding ever since then until today just the frequency
OK, it may be a cultural thing, but that statement is downright silly. Laughing at what makes you sad is a perfectly normal reaction. Nobody is so flat-minded as to react binarily to sadness and joy. Sometimes you’re so happy that you cry, sometimes you’re so sad that you laugh.
Joking about losing a job doesn’t means you rejoice at it. To the contrary, maybe the idea makes you sad you just need to laugh at it.
Do you mean what NPC to shoot to chain the ones you would like to see in the belt? There were infographics what to shoot back in 2010 about that.

Definitely must be a cultural thing because I totally disagree with what you said.

Yeah, the asteroid belts are old stuff. I just recently posted into the Little Things thread a suggestion to simply fold all planetary belts into one belt per planet. We have systems with 20+ asteroid belts, but over time have we been given so many new places to mine, with moon mining and new mining missions being the most recent additions, that all them belts have turned into deserts. Now they only serve for the odd miner to hide, to wait to get ganked and to die a lonely death in it.
The only change to belt rats I can recall was with Incursions, where you now get the harder and more deadly Incursion rats in belts.
Really? Have you never cried of joy? Can’t you laugh at your disgraces? Maybe you need a little more crazy and less literality…

Well, I guess we disagree. It’s however also not the only indicator. Take gankers for example… Often talked about, because not many like them, but they still do whatever they want. They don’t need for EVE to die and for it to be the last day before they start doing “crazy” things. When I then see anyone say, and I don’t mean just CCP Falcon, to do something out of the ordinary on the last day of EVE then frankly have they not yet realized that it’s all a huge sandbox where one can do almost anything and not have a care in the world on how people judge you. One doesn’t have to wait for the last day do this. Instead, in EVE should one do whatever one wants, today, tomorrow, until the very end.
Also, why are you showing me some old movie to make a point? It is just a movie and not the real world.
