I think working for CCP has gone from a dream job to a job to necessary evil that pays the bills to “I can’t wait for my contract to be up so I can move back to the US and go work for Riot”.
I just want to say that I disagree with the posts saying CCP censors this forum, for some kind of customer manipulation reasons. The reason the moderators were put in place was to keep the old forums semi-civil. The posts could get pretty toxic-- mean, foul and nasty stuff.

this forum is a containment zone to keep you away from the much more influential places like 4chan (4.4 million unique users on a single board a month) or reddit (no idea). The more time you spend here wasting air the less you spend there.
Actually Reddit is more wasting than this forum, threads die after one day there, reposts even more frequent than here, what it have tho, is bigger numbers. People will post there even because they can see bigger numbers.

Why would anyone want to visit 4chan? I made that mistake, once.
Reddit, however, is generally ok but the threads are just so damn ephemeral.
Those who whine, will get tagged as whiners. It’s that simple.

PPS I would say that the current ISD have been pretty even handed and do a good job IMO, and there are no rogue ones like there was before well there is one, but you know who that is

So you are openly admitted that you are using forums like notice board not the real forum. I agree, posting on another afk cloaking thread is pointless but don’t lie that you are gathering feedback here, especially from test server part. Main title of that threads should be “we don’t care”. Should I remind you your biggest f*** up with ghost training? It was reported there yet again still hitted TQ. So sorry I’m a bit sceptical when developer is saying they are utilising our feedback while all I see is rather the opposite.
My 2c is that Devs feel more comfortable in a non- official venue were everything gets buried and lost in a matter of hours, than in the official forums were everything is written in stone.
Also, CCP has always engaged the fans were the fans are, so they followed to Reddit same as followed to Las Vegas or EDU.
Forums tend to be repetitive since old matters become old, and negative since happy people rarely have a reason to say so, and toxic since some users just post for their own recreation… but still are the only media were a serious discussion can happen and be checked and retrieved even years later.
Permanence is the core value of a forum, even a discourshit infinite scroll piece of garbage essentially stores the data forever… just makes a PITA to retrieve it.
Last but not least, a forum is only as good as the discussions that can be had. And EVE has more dead horses than hot new stuff, specially during summer holidays, so we see a lot of familiar causes and really little novelty to chew on.
Oh Dracvlad… You’ve been given an answer plenty of times on that one… It isn’t that we’re whiners or trolls, it’s just that you don’t like the answer. Now instead of accepting that EVE is a big sandbox with lots of freedom, all you do is complain and whine about how other people are utilizing that sandbox. You want to impose arbitrary rules on them, restricting their ability to utilize the sandbox, all for your personal gain. Because, quite frankly, you’re unable to cope with it. Your problem with afk cloakers isn’t so much a gameplay problem, as it is a problem with you, your weak mind and your inability to cope with a possible threat.
If you’d have bothered to read the context of the quotes, it would have been obvious why the reading comprehension link is more than appropriate. But frankly you’re just proving my point with that one that you’re nothing but a entitled whiner.

If AFK cloakers aren’t a problem to you, why the heck are you writing hundreds of whine posts about them? And labeling every person that disproves your arguments and points your ■■■■■■■■ out as such “a obvious troll” isn’t going to help your case either. Your “problem” could have been fixed years ago, if you’d just be capable of having a reasonable discussion instead of demanding that your way is the only way and that everyone has to adapt to your will.

Afk cloaking is kind of like old off grid boosters.Can’t be poked or countered therefore complaining is in order
