To record someting, they actually have do DO something they can record. Its not like AG tactics aren’t viable per se, there are many tactics that do really work, I tried some of them about a year ago. But no matter which time I travel through the known ganking locations, there simply are no AGs at work ever. At least I can’t spot some (except Thotamon from time to time).

That is due to ganker pilots work for non-profit while indirectly hiding their industry alts who are making isk to feed their criminal activity.

I’ve seen Githany and NEPF out and about every once in a while.
Thing is I live in lowsec where ganking doesn’t occur, and that’s where I see them.
It is also somewhat humorous when they are suspect.

I like to watch others more than myself pvp as I am no good at that part of Eve Online.
FW farmers would say otherwise.
The issue with saying GF has to look at the complete picture of battle where the battle actually starts way before the pilots or at least one of the pilots enters the same system to fight the other pilot.
Example;
Hunting a Pilot with a known Killright based on intel supplied.
First the visit to the locator agent to type in the target to obtain where to go.
Second bring the ship to that target location, that can or should be able to handle the fight quickly.
Third resulting in the pilot had logged off, jumped systems or the locator againt gave outdated information.
So replete process on a locator agent to check if the intel is the same or changed.
So far 15 mins in for this exercise and must say it is not a good fight…ridicule me is in order.

Why are you considering all the work up until the actual fight as a requirement for a GF?

Here’s how it goes. I attack someone. There are 2 outcomes

I win and I offer a GF
-
I loose and I offer a GF
Why are people trying to make the person who offered the GF responsible for how the other person receives it? It’s total nonsense.
If my opponent is triggered by my GF, that’s their problem. I’m not responsible for managing their emotions for them. And if they perceive my GF as an attempt to troll them, once again, that’s their problem. I’m not responsible for how they will perceive and receive my GF.
They can question my motivation for offering it all they want. But at the end of the day, either they will accept it, or they won’t. And either way it’s their choice. Not mine.

This is true many tactics work well ,when ganker are online and in the past we hunted ganker groups most day’s, these day’s just not enough doing it in our time zone to make it a viable game style , and we are simply off doing other things .
Game mechanics at this time don’t allow it to be a play style you can sustain and with other styles that CCP are releasing that are much more interesting while our AG activity has dropped off, as has my time I have to play Eve , like others had posted recently and after all real comes 1st.
Saying that I log on when I can and enjoy the forums , which does keep me interested in events in New Eden.
Don’t worry their taunting never works on me but I do enjoy their efforts.
Lol your right he is a monster but I think he’s an ok player , had one or two chats with him over my time . Of course he needs to do the normal AG insults before he can chat but after that he seems fine . But yes there are many things now I don’t do with Githany because like you say above

If someone said GF to me I would reply with Dude!
A gf is just polite you know. It signals that you are a good sports about losing/winning at a round of EVE.
People who don’t say gf are usually sore losers who are generally bad at EVE but blame others for their impotence (very often found with miners).

Indeed. It’s a bit much to expect a “I understand the game and enjoyed you killing my barge, thank you, good fight”.
GF is mostly a token of respect for the person who just lost, and it’s expected primarily from the attacker and from the winner of the encounter. Other than that, it would be strange to deny a victim the right to be a bit stressed by the loss in a non-mutual encounter and not say GF.
So it’s situational. Don’t expect someone whose ship you just killed, especially a non-combat ship, to say GF. But at least be a graceful winner.

I was the Rodiva pilot , had to use an alt Gheth is to far way for Githy to travel on the off chance.
BTW this is a GANK FAIL , also got a ton of Polarised blasters which was nice , which sold well in Amarr
the Rodiva works well on gank targets , as Thotamon worked on the shields i got my armor reps spooled up
