That ‘I ain’t never comin back’ sentiment, which I’ve briefly had a number of times, has less to do with ISK loss ( I have many billions ) or even ship loss ( I have several hundred ships ) and more to do with a shattering of confidence. You fly around Eve with a sort of ’ look at me, everyone…aren’t I doing well’ stance, and then have a loss that brings home just how inexperienced one still is.
To me, the real ‘winning Eve’ is the ability to shake off the dust and promptly get back on one’s horse.
I have at one time. So what? What part of “I do what I want” is just so hard for you to understand? I mined Veldspar in 0.6 this morning and 3 days ago, I was ratting in 0.2.
I play Eve Online. And I’m winning. I do what I want. In fact, the only times I got blown up was when I was in the brand new account doing the tutorial and had to blow up. I’m doing pretty well.
Are you a child? Seriously asking. You’re acting like a 7 year old. It doesn’t matter to me if I’m mining in low sec or high sec. It’s still fun. Whether I’m in 0.8 doing an L3 security mission or in 0.2 blowing up battleships in an asteroid belt… it’s still fun. You appear to be the leader of a huge corporation, but you act like a 7 year old throwing a tantrum on the forums because somehow you’re not getting your way.

You’re seriously trying to embarrass me by pointing out that I’ve been seen mining veldspar in 0.8? So what? I’ll go hop into my skiff and mine in 1.0. I’ll mine that stuff all day. Now that I know it bothers you, hell yeah! But… after the holidays. It’s Christmas and I have presents to open and a wife to hold.

I guess winning EVE to me means completing the Career Agents’ Missions and being accepted into a good corporation, one with frequent roams, fleet missions, mining operations and Ship Replacement Program.
