And nature abhors a vacuum.
Its only been a week. Of course the krabs who unsub or dont return will be replaced.
The Alliances need that sweet rental cash flow.

25k online at this moment. I guess that pretty much answers the question of whether everyone is leaving.
Production is still happening… Just because you don’t undock doesn’t mean that anyone else isn’t…
Hide in your station things are still happening.
Used to be 50k. Which is the point quite a few of us are making.
50k meant plenty of fleets.
There haven’t been 50k players in 5 years. This is old news.
.FIFY
Doesn’t everyone who remembers that need a cane to walk now?
While I am a fan of Robert Reich, CCP is a business.
So they have 2 choices, go after millennials who have next to no rights at work, who barely earn anything and who will soon be working 80 hours a week as they vote to have their own workers rights removed.
OR
They can aim the game at an older audience who has money, time and hi-speed internet connections but who are aware that time is a clock and money gives you what you want.
Hardly a choice.
They want your money. CCP is trash.
You go into a shop to buy some bread. They want money for it - you don’t even have the option of getting a more restricted bread for free. Does that make the shop trash ?
Just an update on this one.
ISK comes from Bounties. There is too much ISK in the game, which is why PLEX price has gone up.
Inflation in EVE is at about 10% apparently. That is an Economy that is over-heating.
Ore is taken out of the game by ganking ( stuff destroyed ). ISK isn’t. When you buy the ship you exchange ISK for stuff, so ISK is not destroyed.
Which means that Concord needs to charge more.
We already have stations upping their Taxes. That is one option. But if Concord charges for services in Null then that would be a second option. The end of the Blackout.
In Lore it would simply be Concord deploying more people from the various star-systems, and paying them. In game we’d get Local back.
It’s got to be better than slaughtering newbs, which seems to be the main issue with Blackout IMHO.
Just my tuppence.
Real money transfer and game input automation , damage and unballance EVE.
EVE online is a game.
A spare time activity.
Not for making real world money.
If someone needs real world money.
They should work a real job.
Erm, I was referring to Concord taking ISK out of the game. Pretty obviously too I thought.
Isn’t the isk that purchased the destroyed ship ‘taken out of the game’ ?
Not really. Presumably the person you purchased the ship from used that ISK somewhere else.
No. The isk that purchased the destroyed ship is transferred to another person, but it still exists in the game.
Destroying ships is actually a net generator of ISK through insurance.
So… then… if they took away CONCORD… then they could control inflation better?
squints as if trying to do complex maths
When I started it was like 10k…
