And? CCP ‘ignoring(they didn’t even hear me or do you REALLY think they read the forum?)’ me proves EXACTLY NOTHING.
Regarding to the player loss their agenda is definitive wrong to the core and continuing it will kill the game…bottom line…
But i know…there are those that say ‘EVE should rather die than to be changed into WOW(what a ■■■■■■■■ statement, because EVE will NEVER be WOW)’…regardless if it would be better for the game or not…
It proves that, even if you are right about all of this (you aren’t), CCP is not going to make the changes you want. The only question is why you consider this pathetic crusade of yours instead of playing a game that is already better for you.
Regarding to the player loss their agenda is definitive wrong to the core and continuing it will kill the game…bottom line…
And I suppose you will continue ignoring the fact that even when CCP nerfs PvP subscription numbers don’t increase. Obviously this evidence doesn’t matter because anything that conflicts with your entitled demands for farming buffs is fake news and must be ignored.
But does that sound reasonable to you?
Why not? Because it would be inconvenient for farmer trash like you? A death with some dignity left where we can all remember the good times is better than the game equivalent of watching your beloved relative suffering from dementia, forgetting everything about who they are and slowly becoming a walking corpse before they are officially declared to be dead. The game you want would be EVE in name only, it would be better for it to die and save everyone the humiliation.
Only thing in this skilling spree I hate is that it is completely random with that 10k -> 50k rewards. There can be pretty big differences between characters based on some lotto luck.
I personally would develop this thing into quest lines, mining, industry, combat etc missions that could reward you SP and make the amounts bigger like 100000k but make it require for example week of work to get.
First of all, you completelly failed to proove that it is “obviously needed” in all this debate. Every single one of your arguments and justifications have be proven to be either debatable, or sometimes even completelly wrong.
But for the sake of the question, even if it actually was obvious: YES it does justify it.
How is it stupid to want a game that correspond to what I personnally like?
It looks much more stupid to me to force yourself to play a game that does not offer what you want. Which seems to be what you are currently doing.
Yes. I would rather see the game “die” while still enjoying it during the few years it will take to actually be dead, than see it becoming something I don’t want to play and therefore have to leave it right now.
Once again, how is that stupid?
Am I supposed to argue in favor of making the game something I don’t want to play?
That’s ridiculous.
There is already hundreds, if not thousands of games that correspond to what you want. Meanwhile we have only five games that serve our kind of taste, at best.
You keep trying to make me look like the egoist here, but you are the one who already have hundreds of games at his disposal, and yet want to force the handful of games that are differents to change too.
Basically your whole theory is that, since our tastes and gameplay are (supposedly) a minority, they should be eliminated and denied the right to have some games that cater to them.
That’s much more egoistic than anything I ever personnally said.
I’ve been overall playing video games since I was a child, starting with Pokemon Gold.
I think I have indeed reached a point where I know what I like or don’t like in a video game, as well as a point where I am able to love different kind of gameplay and accept that I can’t have all of them in the same game at the same time.
For now, to me it’s EvE when I want to do PvP because it has the kind of PvP I love, and it’s WoW when I want to do PvE because is has the kind of PvE I love.
Following your ideas will make the EvE PvP less enjoyable to me, and bring nothing to the table as a counterpart because WoW PvE will stay better anyway.
So yes, I am “stubborn” about knowing what I love and why I know your proposals will not be beneficial to me.
What you love is irrelevant, only what is best for the game is…and -obviously regarding to the player loss this game suffers- what you love is NOT what is best for the game…no one with a clear mind can argue this…
No it isn’t for me. I am here to enjoy the game as much as possible. Taking care of other players or potentials players feelings is CCP job.
And CCP job can only be done properly if every player is honnest about what HE want instead of trying to pretend that he understand what every other people wants, which is not possible and ALWAYS end-up in ■■■■■■■■.
We have spend almost a week now giving you PROOFS that what you propose is NOT the best for the game and that you DON’T understand why players are leaving.
I was going to argue again, but I realised that it is not my job to spend my evening repeating what we have already posted. Just use your mouse and scroll-up.
This time try to really read the posts instead of always ignoring 90% of the messages and you might understand.
Not only your ideas are against what I like, but EVEN for the objective BEST for the game, we gave you PROOFS that you are ideas are NOT good, for anybody.
Now honnestly, if you are just gonna continu to ignore the facts and the proofs then stop bothering me, I have lost enough time and energy trying to speak with someone who do not even read what I write anyway.
Your core premise - that players are leaving - is not well supported. On what timescale are you prepared to debate this? Six months? Five years? Ten years?
Do you have evidence that players are leaving because there is too much PvP, not because there is too little PvP or the PvP is boring or they’re tired of connection issues or they don’t like the F2P business model or any of countless other things? Because so far all you have done is insist that what the market wants is menial PvE farming, and I think you are confusing what you want with what the market wants.
Also, I will ask you again: why do you hate industry-focused players and want to nerf their income by reducing PvP? Shouldn’t they have a right to succeed in the sandbox just like farmer trash?
Then why all the most succesful games are PvP focused, if not exclusively PvP?
It’s not about what we understand or not. Even if you were 100% right (which you are not at all), I still will repeat that I prefer the game as it is.
This is what YOU refuse to understand: I’m here to defend the game I like, not to change it to the game that some other may like but not me. This is not my purpose, and this is not my job.
Besides, I already told you that even if the PvE playerbase would like your changes, at the end of the day those people will play WoW anyway because WoW PvE will forever be superior.
Brother, don’t waste your time replying to those ‘Wanna-be PvP Farmer Trash’ ganker rats. It’s the same 1/2 dozen alt/friends who constantly gang-bang in an attempt to meta-game these forums. Doesn’t matter what you say, they will constantly misquote and present all your statements out of context.
