I have flown with YoungPuke2 in FW fleets. His leadership and knowledge of ship fits, getting fights and winning fights is top of the line Fleet Command. He is a little over the edge when he doesn’t get the exact ship and ships that he wants, but you fly at risk in his fleets. He does need to be somewhat less, ‘bossy’ at times. He needs to realize that being a good leader takes more than ship fits and fleet command. An excellent leader will listen to his fleet and then go from there. YoungPuke2 is a watered down version of Sobel, not much water, but slightly watered down.
I’d still vote for him, because once you leave his company, you take a lot of the knowledge he has taught with ya into unknown parts of New Eden.
The Arek’Jaalen Site is a very nice concept I wish had been further expanded on.
I understand it was an older project with coordination between CCP and players in game.
But it is also an incomplete site…never finished.
But, its a great interactive site that allows the players to get a feel for the depth of the EVE universe and a very fun bit of historical RP lore. Usually when I do tours of the site, I also get the chance to teach people about fleet commands by helping mark out structures and locations for people to fly on.
Its in a system in the game that literally has been the core of the history of EVE. Sadly, a thing that people seem to want to have forgotten about. For what reasons I do not know.
That is my only points on.
I salute Youngpuke2 and Dutchgunner as CSM candidate competitors.
Fighting against toxicity is a strong case, as it comes with the territory of gaming -everywhere-
However. How would you handle a hypothetical stalemate wherein both parties are believe the other to be toxic, but only one party can really be telling the truth.
But then again, truth is based on the perspective of the perceiver.
“I love this guy; he’s the best leader I’ve ever seen—humble, passionate, and energetic. I can’t believe he’s been playing this game so intensively for over two years since I’ve known him for that long. I’m also amazed that he’s a doctor in real life! He’s applying for CSM, and I don’t know what his patients would think, but he’ll definitely be a blessing for low-sec players!”
