Easy. Either play the market or find a way around the thing preventing you from undocking.
been trying that
thanks
Trying which?
Are you saying you havent succeeded yet?
If you let me know what youve tried, I might be able to provide other options.
Have you thought of having a secondary base, one in a quite system that is off the trade lanes and not in a trade hub?
Npc Corp. you canāt be decked.
If they would implement it that the same corp canāt wardec you for lets say two weeks once the previous wardec has ended, would that fix the game for you?
Well, the premise of the whole thread is kind of off the rails. Wardecs donāt need a solution, just more variety.
The thread has been fun though.
AFAIK there is already a cooldown on wardecs, so that when one war has been invalidated, the same corp canāt wardec you again for maybe two weeks.
But, if there is, two corps or two alliances could simply pass the wardec on the victim back and forth, so same difference.
Thing is, for every change which is perceived as āproblem solvingā - regardless which side is speaking - there will be a workaround, and mostly one which ultimately requires more money to be thrown at the issue.
Only if there is an offer and acceptance of surrender.
Otherwise, there is no cooldown at all.
Aside from the references to watchlists, which are now obsolete, just about everything in this article covers how to deal with being wardecced and flourishing even in that situation.
Seriously. Just because the scary people want to badtouch you doesnāt mean you canāt play.
You have to adapt and improvise.
Itās seriously not that hard.
The hardest part is crawling out from under your bunk and putting your big boy pants on.
Look in the mirror and tell yourself "I WILL take personal responsibility for my own safety!"
Then again say "I will strive to pay full attention to my environment while I engage in my normal daily routine."
After that say "I will recognize a clear and present danger to myself and react accordingly."
If you take this to heart you will be FINE.
I flew for years under continuous wardecs as one of the aggressors. We usually had over a dozen active wars, sometimes over a hundred.
It was a target rich environment at the time⦠or in carebear terms we were hopelessly outnumbered and completely surrounded.
Yet, still⦠given even that the only time I EVER lost a ship to war target was due to me being insanely wasted on bourbon and beer and deciding of my own accord (with the encouragement of a transient ally who was most certainly a complete dolt) to wrap my shiny ship around a POS belonging to one of our targets.
Itās not hard. It literally boils down to paying attention and taking active measures to try not to die when youāre playing under the spectre of war. If you can muster at least that much you can still do your thing while it goes on without much worry.
Butā¦that takes effort. Heck just reading that takes effort. Iād much rather CCP just fix it for me. /sarcasm
-Use the tools you have to deal with wardecs. They are manifold and sufficient.
-I suggest Locator Agents offer an additional Watchlist service for isk/hr.
This will be of benefit both to aggressors, and defenders.
If HS isnāt WoW Goldshire then why are most merc groups afraid to go into nullsec to seek their targtes?
Cause itās completely differs of what you are able to fly in HS. In low you would be immediate under cap hot drop and in null it might be even worse.
To risk your assets for tiny reward is not logical. Current wardec is kind of decided on powerblocks trying to harras each other in HS by dealing damage to logistics chains but since most of the null sec blocks are under permanent WD they do hire same leeches aka elite PvP mercs to do the dirty job.
And other side is whole bunch of assholds who like to harras small indy corps worldwide.
theyāre not afraid, itās just way easier in HS since the enemy canāt just cyno in backup
Everyone gets to choose where they operate.
Id think Merc groups will go wherever they are paid enough to go.
They also have reputation to consider, and wont take on jobs they know they dont have the means to feasibly complete.
Mercs are (or where) an HS/LS profession for swaying the balance of wardecs.
Afaik they still sometimes get hired out to NS to fight in wars there as well.
Also depends on the Merc group. PL will go to NSā¦it will cost you, but NS is not a problem for them. Now a HS station humping wardec corpā¦probably not. Those players have little to no interest in that aspect of the game.
I think calling PL a Merc group, is not accurate, even by a long stretch.
There may be entities within PL you can hire, but not the org itself.
Claiming otherwise is going into the territory where one can claim Goons are a Merc group, if the price is right. I think thats taking the āMerc groupā definition too far.
