2nd room drone control vedmak group had 3 vedmaks and some 6 demaviks lots and lot of tiny drones(maybe 40?) ran away from the vedmaks because of the firestorm effect it took more than half a clip per vedmak which prelonged the fight however i didn’t see to be in any great danger at any point.

!st room drone bs received a few shots and had to use asb 3-4 times until i settled on a nice orbit aroudn the bs
2nd room vedmak rush group 2 vedmak 4 scram demaviks the demaviks caught up and pinned me down all had scrams an entire rlml clip left 1 vedmak badly damaged yet my hobgoblins couldnt finish it off i died trying to reload the asb.

tier 4 firestorm with above fit
room 1 drone swarm took more damage than usual in dealing with the tiny drones as the fight was mostly within web range
room 2 vedmak drone controller group probably my worst fight here yet and i do blame the ship to a large degree too,decided to open the fight strong and catch a vedmak unfortunately got screened by the demaviks so for about half of the fight i had to resort to webing and killing each tanky little demavik 1 by 1 ,incoming damage on me wasn’t a huge concern i was very slowly bleeding armor but adcu pulses brought me back up so i wouldn’t have died easily.Now after the annoying all web demavik group died i decided to catch one of the vedmaks they kept kiting me to my annoyance,after a few slingshot maneuvers i caught 1 it died quite slow tho i wasn’t happy despite being in range,another annoyance was having to keep mwd on to maintain range even tho the damn thing was webed it could still drift out.For the 2nd vedmak tried the same thing but we somehow ended at the arena edge and he banged into it i seized my chance and caught him again same tedious need for mwd on to keep him in range.Third one got caught through a similar circumstance as the first and i went for last room.
last room drone swarm i ran to a heavy supressor and webed them 1 by 1 killign them while supressor reduced some of the overall ehp too.
All in all blasters inside abysal space are the WORST weapon possible you are forced to chase after annoying enemies they eat up your cap without feeling rewarding atleast with lasers i can load scorch and feel better about myself,tracking disruptors already make your short range even worse,dps isn’t that great either when being forced to fit more tank because of randomised spawn types .
Had the drone vedmak fight been against the rush weapon only vedmaks I probably would’ve caped myself out without them needing to neut me
Forgot to mention the ecm burst did absolutely nothing no target lock breaks despite having perfect ewar skills

was good until i met trig spawn with 4 vedmaks - 3 neut and 1 regular, some neut + ewar demaviks.
couldn’t kite them, couldn’t endure all that neut. medium capacitor booster didn’t help :\ rip me
Also I was thinking. If they are “players like” fitted why their sig is so small while they use mwd? Mayb i’m wrong, but when i lure npc into white cloud to boost their sig radius - they got so much more dmg. and their sig should be like 600 already, before white cloud. It’s fine for drone swarm, but not sure about vedmaks.
Also logi drones mostly broken - they are not moving. Or 1 out of 5 could move
And sometimes drone swarm stop moving, but still shooting. Saw it 2 times already, I think they stop right after i killed ewar drones
It might be worth carrying explosive drones among specific site resist weakness just for vedmaks since they got bad exp res and exp drones are fastest

Just got back into EVE after an extended break, and got to testing the new content. Interesting concept, but the implementation in terms of progression and difficulty look a bit off.

Its the 5x Triglavian battleship spawn that got me every time. 5 normal battleships slows me down enough, that if I get another slow spawn, I time out.
On my last attempt, I came across 4 renewing Leshaks with a Striking Leshak in the first room. The Renewing Leshaks permatanked my 680 DPS despite trying everything including bumping them out of the arena (unsuccessful). Couldn’t even dent one .
I was in a Vagabond, in an electric site (-EM resistances).
I tried RF EMP to start with, trying to take advantage of the site characteristics.
Once it was clear that was futile, I switched to Hail, which has a large explosive component and increased damage. Also didn’t work.
I tried both rapid-target switching and drone- DPS splitting.
On the bright side, I probably just got very unlucky with the spawns on that occasion. If there was one less RR battleship, I probably would have broken through eventually (though probably not in time).
Still, I think that content where you can be entirely locked out of completion based on a dice roll is a little cheesy, I’ll give it a few more tries when I get back.
An Eagle can also passive tank - better than a Gila in fact. However, it also has far worse DPS and application than the Gila - so I’m not sure it’s really a valid alternative. Just for reference, this Eagle tanks just over 600 DPS cold for me:

It depends on the positioning of the ships. If they are close enough together, it may work. The range of ECM Burst is not very high. I’ll give it a try once I run into them.
Do we have any indication that loot drops will vary by filament, especially for plasmids? If not, there’d be no reason to vary from Gila farming. If (say) certain plasmids dropped preferentially in certain filament types then there would be an incentive to use different ships to adapt to different weather.
I just ran a Fierce Exotic T3, and nothing shot at my ship or my drones. A boundary violation did indeed inflict some damage, however. Also, the gate seemed bugged. It told me 3 times i was not close enough to activate the gate. It finally let me through.
