well can just pay the exorbitant price for first 4-5 then build your own collection with abyssal drops doesn’t seem that bad
@Dark_Engraver You have no idea how much these are going to be ransomed for. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find that prices don’t fall below 100m ISK per F1 filament during the first week.
Not every data site will contain these, and the level of cherry-picking (which was already a problem) will reach insane levels.
spent 10bil on hacs and fittings today can spend another 500mil for 5 filaments so not rly fussed.
Not everyone is space rich.
Yea i know it’s not really nice to have a short supply of the t1 i was hoping each empire had their specific res type to supply like gallente firestorm amarr electrical maybe concord dark matter but seems not.
That’s why the F1 filaments should be seeded from NPCs. I’m tired of having to “bend the knee” to null-sec with each and every bloody release. They’ll basically be able to control supply in high-sec and extort whatever they want from players for the first week.
haven’t done any tier3s until now.Picked up a firestorm tier 3 to see the differences finished in 10 minutes…
Good luck trying to lock down all data sites (all 5000 at any given time in the universe (guess)) :] will be very easy to get our own.
It would be nice to drop one or two T1 filaments in our redemption queues. These will be used up in a flash, and won’t hurt the data site explorers. And of course, hopefully these sites will prove to be addictive.
This argument doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
There are data sites in null sec too. Frankly, if I was in null sec where population density is lower and competition for data sites likewise lower . . . why would I come to hi sec? It’s counter-intuitive.
For anyone whining about vedmak rush they got nerf ed orbit velocity is now 1km/s at 15 km they lost 1k armor too neuting vedmak now cycles neut every 20 sec was 12 back when introduced also more thingies on hoboleaks
I noticed it during running a site all in all slight nerf across the board even rr went from 198 to160
RR range also got nerfed I was able to bump 2 bs’s away from each other the animation still showed but they didn’t rep, I’m glad for all the nerf’s they really where listening.
I feel all these tiny nerf may help a lot of players out and make them feel like they have a chance I saw alot of people considering the spawn total impossible well now you get a chance if you felt wronged back then.
I for one am not one bit affected by this means maybe 3-5 volleys less to kill a vedmak less effect of demaviks tds so easier spawn kills
Reading the file info unless I am mistaken they can still wreck you if you trigger them to.it looks like they have a chase behaviour and an orbit one.
O yes they can, just lost xD still tough just no where near as tough as before.
Dps wasn’t changed by the way
It’s the relic sites which are more valuable - and filaments will drop in data sites - so it will fix the cherry-picking for a few days, not make it worse! Data sites will be king in the hours after launch
My biggest problem’s was tracking. neut’s and EHP of enemy ships.
This AI is acting differently, when they can see I’m kiting off the frig’s they fall back to the cover of the bs’s and make me waste time burning and not allowing me to pick them off xD clever bastards.
confirmed it has been nerfed somewhat. I chained 3 success run on T4 dark in a fit that might have not worked before.
Also am I crazy or something happened between (any size) PDS towers and (only) sleeper frigates ?
These sites are fun and challenging, with a full T2 fit trig cruiser I can polish off a site with a decent amount of time remaining. My only problems that I tend to have are that in the pockets with drifter battleships, the battleship tends to burn straight for the edge and sit there like a lump meaning you can’t orbit for fear of leaving the pocket, and sometimes they get stuck against the edge if you’re not fast enough. My other problem comes in the form of those rogue drone pockets with many MANY small drones. Those bad boys are hard to hit (even when dual webbed) so generally I rely on my drones to do the heavy lifting. This doesn’t work that well. My alternative to this would be either larger signatures, slower speeds. Or different ships altogether.
