Do you mean for this activities or because it is one player multiboxing? Multiboxing alphas is already illegal and you can report the player.
How does stop the alpha multibox structure basher or even thae alpha multibox miner? It seems pretty selective to only lock the safety, why is that, I bet there are more miners abusing alpha multiboxing than gankers, so why would you single out the gankers for a nerf.
Just to make it clear, I don’t really care if the safety is set to green for alphas. I just find the arguments for it extremely stupid and it reeks of the typical white knight mindset.
It is an alliance abusing it. It is not known if some are multiboxing them. If you had read down, you would see that I said alpha characters would be excluded from war participation if their corp is at war. Therefore alphas would not be able to grind hisec structures.
Please share with us how exactly you determine that.
Also alphas are perfectly allowed to gank and do whatever they like. CCP even said so and that is why they explicitly didn’t lock the safety. What you linked there has absolutely nothing to do with “abusing alphas” except if it was one guy multiboxing, in which case you should report them.
No I’ve never been touched by them but I have seen what they are doing to others. These people have main accounts in their main alliance, which you cannot touch because they field no structures.
Is it really right that players can hide their mains in alliances which can’t be war decced while their alt alliance of free accounts does all the killing work? I guess it makes sense that a code guy is defending cowards.

Not a normal player of Eve who would ever suggest that Eve has anything to do with real life democracy or any other form of organized real world politics. It comes with its own set of rules. Oh sure. Maybe go search back on the forums and you will find that I was aggressively against the wardec changes that enabled this. In fact I basically quit playing for a year because of it.
I still fail to see what this has to do with alpha or omega state and you still did not provide any clue about how you deduced that this characters are in fact alpha accounts.
So far the anti-content crowd here failed to provide any actual arguments. It all just really feels like the usual tears about you getting your ass kicked and looking for a way to get back at those people by meta gaming for some changes.
Hold up. You’re accusing me of meta gaming because I am asking for changes to put a stop to their excessive meta gaming? They shouldn’t be able to field an alliance of alphas as an aggression tool to gank miners and destroy structures without paying a sub fee while their mains farm safely free from retaliatory war decs in the main alliance.
Are you suggesting the average genuine new alpha player has a great experience in the hisec war dec system? It’s likely exactly the same situation as it has always been, with players quitting, that lead to CCP making non structure holding corps non eligible for wars in the first place.
Those same aggressive alliance of players who used to mass war dec hisec corps with their alt pvp corp, now use that change to hide their main characters in a non war eligible hisec alliance, while abusing the alpha changes to wage war through means of suicide ganking and structure denial using an alt alliance of alpha characters.
The situation is beyond ridiculous.
Remove Alpha’s from wars. They can exist in the corp, but are not eligible for war. Remove alpha ability to turn off the safety lock so they cannot be used for suicide ganking. Plus side is genuine new alpha players will not be harassed by wars like this too.
