I have my Vagabond fit similar to your’s but I use it for exploration and Cosmos.

I tried to make a jaguar fit. though it can tank the cruor agent, it deals half the hawk DPS :confused:

now i can run my enyo vs worm burner without 2 overdrives and can add a 3rd magstab. does 484 (557 OH) dps and is capstable after turning off mwd. needs a genolution set, zor´s, and nn-605 implant.

With the hawk I think there may be a few options but I’ve only tested a few. One of them was a medium booster but that needed 2 batteries and 2 cap rigs, which was pretty slot inefficient, it was a pretty much an idiot proof setup though.

This one uses a bunch of application mods to use rage rockets, I haven’t tested the application so I have no idea how good it is. Can also swap to faction ammo and use a damage and application rig which is the fit I used to run. Probably the best fit to kill without a reload. And the extra cap is probably useful to give you a little more time to get off the next cap booster.

or you can pretty easily go stable with a pithi booster, this is the fit I’m using now. It has a bunch of extra fitting room so it’s pretty easy to do a cheaper fit. Could add the faction BCUs for more dps. With no room for a painter I’m not sure how well rage ammo would work. It comes close to a one clip kill, maybe if you have a missile damage implant it can do it, or maybe it just needs good heat management. I pretty recently switched. Have a screenshot where I had it at ~60% structure without heat.

I was thinking a tracking rig, or maybe a falloff rig, but haven’t tried either. The EFT damage graph suggests the falloff would be best. will fit with a navy MAPC and good fitting skills. I’m also not 100% that it will be cap stable, in game display shows something like +12 cap, where the cruor neuts 13 ish, but my old fit always had a bit of buffer, so dropping to +12 seems safe, just might need to pause reps for a second or two every now and then.

Or maybe a hyper for more warp speed, but not sure that would really make a difference.

Anyone used the new assault damage control for agent burner? Im thinking regular AF with T2 should be enough, not willing to spend a few bill just to do agent missions.

Thoughts?

The new ADC lasts only 15s. I can’t think of any ship that would benefit of this, besides angel and sansha agents.
I think on the serpentis base’ s vigilant it could be better than the regular DC in case you get wrecked on the first one, but you need to react very fast.

The Orthrus in the guide can no longer be fit with 3x ballistic control and you need to fit a reactor control and 2x ballistic control but it works with all t2 mods also.

Thanks to the assault damage control, the jaguar, vengeance and I am guessing the Hawk and Enyo team burner can be done with a t2 pulse Retribution.

The Talos burner can be done in a cap stable Phantasm.

Has anyone tried the Enforcer or Pacifier for any of the Burners?

I wouldn’t recommend those. The Enforcer is a very expensive Arazu without the dampener bonus and the Pacifier more like a Buzzard with a rep bonus.

They do however make epic killmails.

I’m sure they do. I was just curious with the stasis web and shield/armor bonuses. Let’s not forget that some of the standard fits can be quite blingy, too.

pacifier has base 33% on all resists. no web bonus. 3launchers and 3turret slots, means the 4/4/4 can’t be used to dual damage. Only two rig slots … so basically this ship sucks.

your damage will be lower than the dd(314 to 308 DPS).

Each patch this post gets a little more outdated, The general tactics are fine, but the accept list and fits are getting stale. Should probably make a new one.

I have a kite beam retribution that can do all the team burners. still messing around with the fit, but pretty much all damage/range mods and a prop mod, mainly switching between AB and MWD fits. Mostly just use it for caldari thanks to the damage profile, but have tested it vs the other ones. Brawl fit sounds fun, has a good resist profile so I can see it working for most.

looked at the phantasm in game and looks like it could do it, pretty interesting with a 100mn AB fit. I’ll probably stick with the vagabond, but might be an alpha option.

their prices just start to be coming down so I haven’t looked at them at all. but at a glance they seem weak. the warp speed bonus is kinda cool, but that’s about it.

I know she does, I was flying her 37 minutes ago in a burner Talos. If you go 100mn or 10, I leave up to you.

I didn’t mean to imply it couldn’t do it, more that it could do it in and be efficient. Been playing around with fits in pyfa/ghost fitting

any recommendations on a new blitzing ship and fit? machariel slot layout has changed.

Chainsaw, I’d love to see your Retribution fit/tactics. I’m going through a missile love-hate stage and would prefer to stick to guns. Is there any drone fit (Worm?) that can take out the Team Burners or do the drones just get picked off to easily?

I’m using my Kronos for blitzing because I’m inherently lazy and couldn’t be bothered to switch ships. I should probably come up with something more optimzed. It’s really hard to beat the warp speed bonus of the Machariel, though.

pretty much the same fit works, just have an extra mid now. I think the armor fit drop a gyro gain a tracking comp. Shield fits lose a TE, and gain a tracking comp or sensor booster. Damage, agility, and warp speed are my main reasons to use a mach and those didn’t get changed.

pretty much just land, turn around and hit the MWD to control range when stuff gets in range. can use standard to hit them when you first land. If you try and orbit you can’t track very well, maybe if you slow down some it would work, but easy to just align and manually drop speed to keep low transversal.

Can also play with the meta levels on the heatsinks, or drop a heat sink, to get a tracking comp in the mids. Like a 4 faction heat sink + storyline tracking comp works but gets expensive. Or a 3 heat sink + nano if you want to keep it cheap.

I just pretty much use this fit now you can bring 2x rat specific hardeners to tweak the tank and you can lower guns to Meta or remove a little of the bling (or add more) if you feel like it but I consider it a cheap enough fit anyway.

that’s pretty much my armor mach fit, only I have a cap booster instead of the 4th tracking comp. Also some slightly different meta level items.

Has anyone tried Tengu / Proteus for these? or even … loki?

Burners i mean, or are they locked vs t3?
